A few years ago, I had a series of dreams that would occur every other week; each dream was a different place with different physics and different occupants/monsters. However, in each dream, I somehow knew that they were all connected like each dream was a different level inside a Titanic tower, and my subconscious goal was to ascend the tower, survive each new level for the final fight at the top. I remember the details of a few dream levels, and I remember that, in my dreams, it was called the Tower of Nightmares.

Now you made me curious, do you remember anything else like how was each appearence of the mosters or do you remember anything about the story that is created in this dreams. because this story reminds me of an mix of catherine:full body (an game that you should see) and dark deception. Perhaps you could write or draw this story to become an manga or an comic. would be interesting getting an new franchise based on your dream.

There's always a deep scarlet sky, and my surroundings are always very basic and white, much like this video. After a while, I get a weird sensation that's half taste and half smell. It's very metallic, but not quite like blood. Then, the ground erupts into a writhing mass of everything that ever was, is, and can be. All things of reality and imagination are presented to me simultaneously. I've had this dream three times, but the sensation and the sky returned for a fourth time under a different context. This is the one I really wanted to talk about. To preface, I'm not a very religious person, so the scenario is quite strange for me. I am looking through the eyes of God as he skates around on a floating mass of water in space. Every once in a while, He will dip down into the waters and my view will transition into a different dream. The only one I remember featured an impossibly large home improvement store where all the shelves and items had been melded together into one huge labyrinth. This labyrinth seemed not to consider the limitations of human locomotion and had halls running vertically as well as horizontally. A creature that was beyond explanation hunted a group of friends I didn't recognize along with myself. It picked us off one by one, until I was left alone. Eventually it found me and dragged me off in some non-existent direction. I broke through the surface of the water again as God, but now something was different. I gigantic, vaguely humanoid figure of crimson jelly was emerging from the water. I quickly recognized it as the red sky from my previous dreams. No words were exchanged, but it was clearly unwelcome. After a few moments of uncertainty, the creature let out a loud squelching noise and its chest burst open, releasing red globules into the air. They slowly descended into the water, corrupting everything it touched. God was now afraid, and I could feel His mind disintegrating. I was forced to experience God losing His sanity. Thankfully, I woke up soon after and was able to write down a detailed version in my notebook. I was battling cancer at the time and was deep into a round of radiation therapy, so that probably had something to do with how intense and visceral the dream was. I hope someone can take something worthwhile from this. For now, I await the crimson in whatever form it takes, be it sky, cosmic being, or something else.

I remember having a nightmare that I had to hide from little people with happy masks and I hid in a closet and then after a few seconds they opened the door and screamed so loud then the nightmare ended

Today I just had a nightmare about Halloween animatronics coming to life and chasing me around someone's house 🥴

I keep having similar dreams like this but instead of a cockroach monster, it's usually something I never actually see or a horrific fleshy looking monster that's either covered in tar or thick nasty matted black hair. The only striking feature are small perfevtly round sunken in beady eyes that look more like white rings than anything. Like the eyes on the puppet from "Possum"

The more terrifying thing about this is this is a somewhat serious animation, well everything else is... Fever dream on acid

I had a nightmare fairly recently where I was viewing through the perspective of some kind of knight or third-person character like in a dark souls game, and the final boss was my actual real life self with smoky eyes and shadow powers

I don't have too many dreams like this one (although they do happen every so often and I hate them) but I got this one really stupid reacuring nightmare. I'm afraid of tornados IRL, so sometimes I dream I'm either driving and or walking with a friend, and then they'll be like, "Oh hey, look off in the distance there." And there'll be 5 tornados highlighted by lightning all coming for me. Then I wake up. Pretty sure my brain just likes to fuck with me because how else do you explain that shish.

Actually, now that I think about, the nightmares I remember most are the ones where I'm being chased by an unknown entity in a strange place. Damn.

I went to the dark halls, that’s similar in those of the Powerline concert from a Goofy Movie, but it’s darker, longer and straighter, while there’s a gold golem from Heroes of Might & Magic 3 walking straight in the halls towards me, like how in this dodgeball part of “Waka Chaka” from Trollhunters, where Jim Lake Jr. threw the dodgeball accidentally to Claire Nuñez’s face as she walks in, while Steve Palchuk dodge the dodgeball in the same time.

I have this exact sort of nightmare all the time. Except it is flayed corpses rather than bugs. The other one I have is that there is something watching me from the window of my room and I can see nothing of them except a pair of jaundiced eyes...

Hm, my reoccuring nightmare is probably this one where these levitating purple platforms glow white when you step on them. If you're not fast enough, they fall down. It never ends, and when you do fall (or, me I guess) you wake up with that "falling out of bed" feeling but you're perfectly centered on your bed, not near the edge in the slightest. Idk, it's happened to me since I can remember

uff... that run is relatable.... One of the more common (and depressing) ones i get is being swamped with schoolwork and freaking out until i realize its just a dream. then i wake up and go to school....

You nailed it! Very good! When your legs feel like they are being squished by the ground around them and the world warps! I've had many dreams where you are falling fast from a short height and when you are about to catch yourself you wake up from a jerky leg motion. Another one, you try to catch a ball or swat away something and you wake up with your hand swiping at the air.

Fun fact: these dreams are old- i was between 5-10 when i got these dreams I have a nightmare when i was like 6-8 about a losen tiger chasing me and when it was about to jump and eat me i woke up. I have another type of dream that is somewhat funny and kind of not really scary,i dreamed there was a zombie apocalypse and i was the only human left here in town and saw our house and went in and closed the gate while there was no sighting of any zombie just completely feel like your the only one living,then saw a classmate thst is apparantly a riding a somewhat zombie animal as well that i forgot what it was and also she was with another zombie that is a fat zombie officer- and i thought they'll get on the fence but she said she wamna help me and then i forgot- maybe i woke up- Another dream that was cool. I dreamt of me in walking up to the middle of the road and also theres no other people except for me, then an angel from the heavens or clouds went down to me(i liked viewed the angel going down different like im a camera some sort- even saw myself waiting for the angel to come down then the angel sort of pulled out a some sort of calendar that i didnt see what it looks and then myself and the angel was talking for some seconds then the angel went up and i woke up. (Btw i was still not viewing as myself in the dream like i was some sort of camera) Another Amazing dream is that im a toddler,when i turned around i saw holy mary and jesus looking up to me (also i was in the middle of the road- and btw the reason i said theyre looking up to me is the road is like going down like a slope and also the road down the slope was like kind of wrecked like it was destroyed-) and then i saw them and little Me said "papa jesus!! Mama mary!! And then little me ran down and hugged them. And i woke up 😭🖑

I had a reoccurring nightmare where Barney the dinosaur was chasing me and my friends around various places. In the last of my saga of nightmares, we all learned to fly and escaped him but realized he could always just stalk us and eat us when we landed, so we went to Walmart and got grapes and fed him the grapes, so that he wasn’t hungry anymore and wouldn’t chase us. Another time, I had a dream where I was stuck in this oddly familiar all blue world that looked like a city. There was a playground in the middle of it. After 5 minutes, the playground equipment would chase me. Every time I escaped, I would somehow always end up in the world again. The place strangely reminds me of those little animations that play when the logo for a company is showed.

i was attacked by a demon and was they scratched 3 lines on my back really deep. i woke up with chills and 3 deep cuts down my back

I used to have a repeating nightmare that I'd recieve like once every week when I was younger. My view was of this vast, purple static-y void, with a strange black mist. Out of nowhere, two colossal purple metal-stonish/??? Pillars would move slowly towards one another. As they touched, they collided with this sheer grinding sound, which got louder and louder until I woke up.

Old nightmare I had when I was a kid. I was in an open field with a thick fog. In the fog were dark figures but they seemed to just watch the scene. I was standing before the front of some grand manor, tall Victorian architecture looming over me. In front of this place was a large chest which I tried to open but it was locked. So, naturally the next thing was to go inside since the figures outside surrounded me. Inside was lavishly furnished with everything you'd imagine a manor would have. I turned right, entering a study of sorts but unfortunately my adventure ended there. I felt something wet slap onto my shoulder and I looks up to see a man's face. Bottom jaw split and his mouth agape, his body stretched out and leading of of the room. Arms sprouted from the side of the body like the legs of a centipede. It lunged at my face and I woke up.

I was young on a play set in the middle of a valley full of tall grass. I was with my younger brother but then we found a lion underneath the set. It got up and started walking to us. I told my brother to run and we both ran. I hurt my leg and fell over. It ended right before the lion bit my head. I was terrified as a kid

I had a recurring nightmare as a kid where my mom and I would go to Kmart or Sears or something and go on the escelators. I always would look over the railing as we went up, my mom would say something incomprehensible, then I would fall over the railing. I would fall straight to the first floor and wake up before hitting the ground, in a cold sweat.

Somehow my nightmares also end up in a sequence where I find it impossible to run/walk

I always have these nightmares where something bad is happening like someone is getting assaulted and i try helping them and when i catch the one assaulting and punch him my punches sound like a squeaky toy and they don’t hurt at all and i just feel incapable of doing anything to stop it from happening

If you are asking,my tipes of nightmares are: drowning,falling,and me being decapitated. I forgot to mention that I had a hard dream too. I was sleeping,if I watch htf that means I like violence (cartoon only) but this...was WAY gory. It was flippy and fliqpy but flippy was in a torture room. More like cupcakes room. But,he wasn't normal. H-his legs were cut off, leaving a huge hole down his stomach. And fliqpy pushed his organs down until flippy screamed. I was a bit scared,but I still were dreaming. And then he started to cry. I was totally shocked and then I woke up. This was my WORST nightmare I ever had...
