I've been here, since 2014, is so beautiful, I hope they keep it clean and safe for all tourists. Especially the marine life and the ocean beach must be kept in balance.

I was in Boracay for three weeks back in 1999. The only building on the island, taller than two floors was the hotel by the golf course. When you were swimming 50 yards from the beach the island looked uninhabited and untouched. Makes me so happy that I got the chance to visit that beautiful place before it was ruined!

Went to boracay last year and definitely worth the trip. Nothing but good memories and the beach was definitely beautiful and magical especially during the sun going down.

I noticed that there is a certain minimum distance from the entrance for the music/sound setup in each establishment. Probably so that there won't be too much noise outside of each bar. Before the rehabilitation, the stereo setups were like almost in front of the entrance which was very noisy along the beach kinda too loud for most tourists that are just passing by.

It’s amazing how this small island able to accommodate all these people and establishments. There must be some kind of regulation in place, to make sure it’s longevity, otherwise we’re just destroying a beautiful island.

Boracay has a total land area of 1,032 hectares approximately 7km long. Total of around 347 accredited resorts and hotels so imagine kung gaano karaming rooms meron sa isla it can accommodate 6k plus of guest daily and since pinasara ni DU30 ang isla ng Boracay lahat ng mga batas na ipinasa patuloy parin naman pinapatupad ng LGU ng Malay at ng DENR

Looks like the beach is being eclipsed by the bars and restaurants. The shoreline of the beach is so near to the establishments especially in station 1 compared to famous beaches like the Balneario beach in Copacobana in Rio.

Oh, definitely yes. Of course, it's still possible to find an odd bit of trash here and there. Ultimately, it becomes each visitor's responsibility to never add any clutter. Just leave footprints in the sand and take home beautiful memories from your stay there.
