Thanks for this helpful video Alec. I just transferred from the Kriegsmarine to the Luftwaffe after receiving my copy of NFA. (Too many fatal depth charge attacks in "The Hunters") Hope to have better luck in the skies over Germany.

Nicely done. I have subscribed. A couple of points..first, when your fighter is damaged, it reduces your top speed by three. You had one intercept with TWO damaged engines..and this should have reduced your BF's speed down to 11...and forced you to abort the mission. Second..even if you have electronics skill, you still need to roll on the table. This is the only way to get a random event roll...and gaining the B-17 encounter, along with getting a pig. Yep...a pig, on 2d6 of a 7. Good livestream.

Always have liked nightfighters. The pure terror of getting shot at in the dark. My favorite nightfighter is the P-61 Black Widow, just a pretty plane to me.

Have the game, nice play through. Was a bit surprised to see the Swedish magazine "Se" witch means "look" in english on the pilot display😃

There is about 25 books listed under suggested reading on pg 25 of the NFA game manual. You could probably find some in local library.

If your firing at close range to the bomber, both you and the rear gunner get plus one to the hits total.

Impressive play-through. However, you forgot to roll for a full moon @ around 1:47:58 and also missed the roll @ around 2:31:00. As per Rule [6.1.5], a roll of 1 on a 1d6 will cancel the raid for a full moon. The roll should be made after the check for weather, so you won’t forget. There’s a 14% chance of hitting the roll once a game during the full moon phase so, it could inflate your kill numbers for bombers shot down if it’s not included.
