Is this real Rasputin history or propaganda about him? Either way this is very amusing way to listen to in a history lesson with that amazing music, catchy and cool vocals and really nice rhythm. Awesome job to MAJESTIC & BONEY M. for making this track and SYREX for turning it into nightcore. But anyway as always love it so here take these hearts of appreciation 💙❤️💛🧡💚💜

It’s rather a mix. Rasputin was a friend of the last Russian Empress Alexandra, she believed that he could heal her hemophiliac son. Most people believe that he was a fraud, and most people believed that at the time. The one correct thing was he advocated against certain common treatments at the time that we know now, would’ve worsened Alexei’s condition. Rasputin was known for bad behaviour, ( especially regarding women) and was deeply unpopular with the people. Come ww1, the ineffective Tsar (who ran the whole country-no constitution) gave his wife increasing power-she listened to Rasputin, who gave her bad advice. Their unpopularity worsened, and many believed he and Alexandra were having an affair, although most modern historians think it was unlikely they were lovers-though Rasputin certainly had a hold on the Empress. In the end, in a last ditch effort to save the monarchy’s failing popularity, a cabal of nobles headed by Prince Felix Yusupov had Rasputin killed.-details of this are quite blurry and mythologized. In the end it wasn’t enough, and the monarchy was overthrown in the Russian Revolution just months later. So the song is semi-historical. Based more on the legend. There’s obviously more history than in my little synopsis but I tried to convey the big points.
