Ah~ The feeling of seeing this video brings back how sad it is to watch Violet Evergarden. The song really fits how Gilbert felt about Violet. He didn't want to be with Violet cause he thought if he's with her she will just have more pain in the future, but that one letter that Violet made for Gilbert really hit hard for him to wanting him to be with her forever.

C'est génial! Le refrain est beaucoup plus entrainant et on ressent plus le coté brisé de la chanson .oui c'est pas très clair ce que je dis, mais tout ce qu'il y a à comprendre c'est que cette version ne fait qu'embellir la chanson de base!!

Gilbert and violet met again and got married after she turned 18. Its possible that he only fell in love with her after she turned into an adult. Secondly, violet evergarden takes place in the 19th century where women could marry as soon at 12 and men at 14. 3rd, Gilbert wasn’t grooming violet nor was he being pedophilic. The dictionary definition for pedophilia is sexual feelings towards children, he never showed any sexual feelings towards her nor did he fall in love with her because she was a child. TLDR; theres nothing wrong w gilbert x violet, they met again AFTER she was 18, and it wasnt illegal for their time

(which i already said). Things like slavery and child marriages will always be apart of history whether you’re comfortable with it or not

The legal age of marriage has been 18 since 1921, so there were no child marriages, even before that it was still between 18-21, only at 12-14 with *parental consent* and Violet clearly has no parents. The average age for women to get married has been 21 since the 1800's there's no way there would be a sudden change. And child marriage among peasants was almost non-existent. And child marriages only took place between nobles and higher powers. Also, what's this about slavery, it was abolished in the 1800's way before Violet Evergarden? And since this was made in 2015 there was no reason Violet had to be 10-14 and especially no reason there had to be a 15-year age gap! It wasn't even normal for the setting!
