From 1933 to 1945 the Nazi Party held power in Germany. Hitler implemented totalitarian policies, promoting racial supremacy, anti-Semitism, and extreme nationalism.
Hitler's rise to power was fueled by political instability, economic hardships, and resentment from the Treaty of Versailles after World War I. The Nazis gained support by exploiting these grievances and using propaganda to spread their ideology.
The Nazis enacted discriminatory policies targeting various groups, particularly Jews, Romani people, disabled individuals, LGBTQ+ individuals, and political dissidents. These policies resulted in persecution, segregation, forced labor, and ultimately genocide.
The Holocaust, also known as the Shoah, was the systematic and state-sponsored genocide of approximately six million Jews by the Nazi regime. Jews were rounded up, transported to concentration camps, and subjected to mass shootings, forced labor, and extermination in gas chambers.
While Jews were the primary target of the Holocaust, millions of other individuals also fell victim to Nazi atrocities. This includes Romani people, Poles, Soviet POWs, disabled individuals, political dissidents, and members of other persecuted groups.
As World War II progressed, Allied forces liberated concentration and extermination camps, revealing the horrifying extent of Nazi crimes. The Nuremberg Trials held after the war sought to hold key Nazi leaders accountable for their actions.
The Holocaust stands as a stark reminder of the dangers of hatred, prejudice, and unchecked power. It emphasizes the importance of promoting tolerance, human rights, and learning from history to prevent such atrocities from happening again.

You may find this hard to believe but every year here in Scotland thousands of Argentine citizens whose ancestors were forced of the land during the Highland clearances of the 1800s come to see where there ancestors came from. Who knows,perhaps my many-many times great grandfather fought in battle alongside yours.

History can very much be censored/changed, look at North Korea, they live thinking the Kim family are gods and Kim Jong Un invented the Hamburger. Another example of this would be Oceania (George Orwell's 1984), where the state can change history in a matter of minutes.

Agreed! And I'm a left wing ,liberal homosexual who also happens to be a historian. I have hundreds of books on the armed forces of the third Reich. I just got "Defeat of the damned" about the destruction in battle of the Dirlewanger Brigade(not exactly men you feel bad for,but were the Americans that let the Japanese biological war criminals off scott free much better?). I don't get KZread sometimes. I'm a historian,3,500 books on warfare/military history from the Neolithic until end of the second world war. 350 or so are on the German army 1933-45. I'm also gay,and an Anarchist,and a anti fascist who's grandad took part in the liberation of Bergen Belsen concentration camp as a young Scottish soldier. But I love third Reich music and I'm a huge anime fan. I don't think this channel is neo Nazi or even right wing. Ok,you get idiotic comments but that's not the channel owners fault. And free speech is important. Even if it's sometimes sickening. So from sunny(lol) Scotland may this channel stay active.
