I was born in 2008, and currently am 15 years old. When I first discovered nightcore (which was 1 year ago) I immediately liked the beat of this subgenre of music. Don't get me wrong, I don't listen to recent nightcores, but I listen to the old ones; Because if I had to compare the old ones to new ones, I would definitely choose the old ones, they're way more better. Also, when I read the comments in the videos of old nightcore covers, comments that says: on how that subgenre of music made a great impact on the childhood, of by now young adults, that were once teenagers living in the 2010s, I somehow feel a sense of nostalgia, even though I didn't experience that age in the first place. And also a feeling of regret, wishing I would have born at least 5 or more years before instead.

Even though i'm 2 months older then this video, it still holds a special place in my heart. Story time! When i was 7-8, we had a project that we had to do, and my teachers took music requests. Being the 7-8 year old freak that i was, i said "Blue burd nightcore!" Because my big brother got me hooked on the naruto OST and nightcore. My teacher, (we'll call her Ms. Bloomie) looked up the song on youtube and saw a.. Suggestive looking anime girl on the cover, and she asked if it was appropriate. Of course, i said yes! Then it played and i was the happiest little kid ever because my favorite song was playing. Despite the doubts of my classmates, it is certaintly a day that i'll remember for awhile, even if it isn't that exciting. Moral is, don't be afraid to be yourself, and stay determined! (I LOVE NIGHTCORE!!!)

i dont even like nightcore anymore but sometimes i remember it…so i come back and get over happy and remember my childhood and how amazing it made me feel, then get sad but it also just makes me happy which is great feeling. im smiling and dancing around just being myself, going back to cringy 2016 self and just enjoying life for the 30 minutes that i listen to nightcore.
