A night walk on the Mount Matang (locally known as Matang Hill) to Sri Maha Mariamman Temple Matang along the Beccari Discovery Trail, leaded by experience natural explorist Jerry & Bob.
The Beccari Discovery Trail is a 3.2km tar-sealed road following the route of old cart track along the side of Mount Matang leading to the temple. Be amazed by the vast diversity of amazing flora and fauna along the trail.
The Sri Maha Mariamman Temple Matang is a long lost hindu temple in Sarawak that is build in 1867 and was abandoned more than half a century before being discovered in 1968.
Along the trail to the Temple, it is an amazing forest that is full of natural creatures and we spotted various insects, cicadas, spiders, frogs, snakes and even civets during the night walk along the trail.
