Those groups should focus on food, ammo, transportation, and forts. By fort I mean location of safety for our patriots. All soldiers fall back to base camp to resupply.

My biggest lesson dont wast money on anything less than a Gen 3 they run about (3,000$) the worst part about L3 tubes from tnvc is the 20 week back log. The + is you get a very High Spec clear blemish free tube 😀

@@frostyvix5124 well true. But in a situation like that your normally gonna have the autogated feature also. That’s when u hit the pressure pad with an high lumen light. Use your free eye an rock out also. If that much light is coming at you. Most likely isn’t for a good reason and most with a half brain would pop onto regular white light use the non night vision eye soon as the autogation happens an it’s realized it’s a threat and sending the white light to. Just comes down to who’s quicker. Only downside to that would be prior to being light up by any ops the night vision guy probably already seen them and their position and everything else

Great service actually. Spoke with David who had all the knowledge on the different units available. Good guy. Ended up ordering several items today at noon and they sent me an email saying it would be arriving before 10:30 am tomorrow. Never have I seen such service from other “ Guns&Gear” vendor.

So long as you do not run into government forces and you get a good IR illuminator it will work pretty well.

ATN 600 series night vision scope the delay is so minute we’re talking milliseconds it’s not going to make a difference. But since I live out in the woods I’m already going to be set up I don’t have to go anywhere but I’m definitely going to see you coming you can believe that one I’ve already tried and did some practice runs a couple of the animals that I took out didn’t even know I was there. Thank God for that good old military training yes the old guy still has it

I agree, having a ITT pvs14 gen3+ with a amber filter n a 3 to 5x magnifying glass adds weight but is much better to bordering your view. Helmet with a Wilson L5S1 mount is a Must Have imho. The amber filter will help protect your eyes while viewing. If engaged, flip up n go Trijicon REAP-IR thermal on a double clamped mount specifically designed for the REAP-IR. You can have the baddest gun n you'll probably not go through to a mag change. It's that Important guys n girls. A must have for every family Patriots.

I've got a great story... One evening my wife asked me to take the trash down. I decided to wear my PVS14 monocular and grabbed the trash. Out the door and down the driveway in the dark. I noticed a couple walking their dog on the road with flashlights. I tried to slow down to let them pass but I ended up getting to the street as they were just past my driveway. They were talking to each other stating that they hoped it was a deer in the trees and ended up illuminating me with their flashlights. Boy were they shocked. I had to tell them that I was just bringing the trash down. I'm guessing they will never try and rob my house though .

In the middle ages, peasant armies almost always lost to the professional knights, even when they had superior numbers. Not only did the knights have better training, and weapons, tactics, but they (unlike peasants) could afford armor. The modern equivalent of a knights suit-of-armor being hard body armor and NVGs. Exactly. I almost posted that until i saw this. Most people think pirates were all missing an eye. You and i both know that they did that so when they went below deck, they weren't blind in the dark.

Sometimes when looking through my pvs 14 if i see a light throw it ill get some after image. It will go away if i turn it off for a few seconds then back on. Is that bad for the unit?

Always remember to stay passive when using IR....Once you Illuminate with Active IR anyone else with IR can see your position. Just a little experience

Wish I had the money, used to run an older Monocle in iraq. Driving humvees at 65+ with those was the shadiest shit I've ever done lmao. As soon as I get my fighting rifle done, I'm going to save for some. I'd even take some older milsurp stuff.

We have been backing up the 14s and 7s with leupold LTO thermal mounted on 3omm rings and mounted on rifles and PCC. They work fine for common distances and handle normal recoil

If you are on a budget and have to go with digital NVG's, I suggest the nightfox swift CQB unit. I have ran multiple digital units and the lag time is almost non existent with the nightfox swift. I keep it in my EDC go bag everyday.

For just basic seeing in the dark and cqb type situations, as long as you have a decent illuminator, you can’t go wrong with a night fox. I’ve got good gen 3 nods (agm pvs7 white phosphor) but I keep a few spare night fox digital units in my go packs to give to people in a shtf situation

However, the threat of civil war or some other threat is very real and very close, and it is impossible to kniw if it is going to take place before the rapture, but it is a definate guarantee after the rapture. Either way, I see you as a very caring person and hope you have a relationship with Jesus and will rapture out of here with the rest if us Christians before things fall apart. If not, please look into it and consider what your eternal future will be if you do not belong to Jesus. All the great info you share will have no bearing at all once hell breaks loose after the rapture. Things will be like NOTHING mankind has ever seen or experienced. Thanks again and God bless.

@@mitchhebert2046 because the ones left after the rapture that refuse to follow satan and refuse to take his mark will be the ones that are beheaded. There will be many left on Earth after the rapture that call themselves Christians but never really accepted Jesus as Lord. But you can bet they will after the rapture!

While flying medevac we used binocular night vision with 80,000 light magnification but no zoom and could look down at a chart with no problem. We would go into a pitch black LZ and the set would turn off when we flipped up. We were informed they were $14,000 We would never use them when coming into any lit areas, since they would wash out and possibly injure the light collector. IR illuminators show where you are to others with nightvision. There are units with fusion vision which is night on one side and Infrared vision on the other side and are selectable.

Your dad is MOSTLY correct. But there has been over 200 civil wars in the world since 1816. Lots of people apparently started a civil war not anticipating that they might die.

What is the best way to secure a PVS-14 to a helmet as in a lanyard system? What type of cordage is used? Are the insides of 550 paracord the best? Any ideas and comments are well appreciated.

So can you use an actual rifle scope with night vision and be able to see the reticle or would you need an illuminated reticle?

@@TheAllEncompassingEye TNVC has the ATAK capable version available now. The ability to see in to deep shadows with thermal is invaluable in my opinion.
