I think the box is actually the same scale. Unlike the Stridor packaging which had that upper flap, they removed that here and took out the window accents in favor of straight cardboard package with beautiful artwork. A definite improvement.

Cool video as always Jay. For me I remember getting Stridor and Nightstalker at the same time. But I got the Stridor with Fisto double pack and Nightstalker with Jutsu double pack. But my favorite vehicle beast was Dragon Walker.

I like this packaging. It looks more secure and less susceptible to shipping damage compared to Stridor's packaging. As for clearance chickeners, I don't like that strategy - they play ckearance chicken then when the item is sold out and they missed out, they start complaining to Mattel and other collectors that Mattel didnt make enough. Anyone that plays that strategy should own it and accept it when their own actions cause them to miss out.

Sometimes one can tell what items may go on sale eventually. Origins at this price isn't worth the gamble.

I adore the box art and packaging, equally to if it had the window packaging like Stridor; it’s growing on me as it’s like having two fully paneled pieces of art, the feel of a true regal collector item. It appears quite obviously that Night Stalker will be packaged with legs stretched out - not in standing pose like Stridor - which is why the box looks longer than high; it will be shorter that Stridor’s box (without flap) and longer. I also actually prefer the looks and color combos brought upon by the presence of Skeletor, rather than Jitsu which I also like to see on this steed - as many would have preferred. The Night Stalker and Skeletor are a match made in hell, I never expected it to look so good!

I feel like it is going to be the same size as stridor. But even if it is bigger I will never understand being worried about getting more for your money.

How can you even tell how big the box is? It could be the same size as Stridor's box.

It’s obviously not the same proportions (rectangle proportions) as the Stridor box, so it can’t be the same exact size as the Stridor box (without flap) I don’t think the box is ‘bigger’ in volume, but I have a feeling that Night Stalker will NOT be packaged with legs straight, standing, like Stridor was, and that is why the box height is shorter and the length is longer, compared to Stridor’s box without flap.

No alternate mask for Nightwalker like Stridor? They have the mould. Missed opportunity for a might as well accessory.

Box will be exactly the same size as Stridor, without the upper flap. If anything it’s in this format so they can cheap out by no longer having the window box

Skeletor is not included. It says it at mattel creations page. It also says there's a second helmet.

Same size. Night Stalker is essentially a repaint job of Stridor.

I really hope Night Stalker will be available to the general public. If not, I'm sick of missing out because item are "Exclusive/Exclusions". If anyone living in 'my neck of the woods' can get me at least 1 if not 2, I will reimburse with cash.

I loved being able to get Strydor for $5 at Ross, but honestly, I don't see this one going to clearance. I got a feeling scalpers will help make this sold out, but I could be wrong. Either way, though, I'm still getting it. Haha, I ain't waiting 😂😂

I never got Night Stalker. I now have both vintage & origins Stridor (cheap price). If I can get this, fantastic. We are paying for the artwork.

I might be weird but I don’t like to mix “vehicles” across factions…like the Vamp/Stinger or Skysleds etc. it does look awesome, but basically $40+ after shipping/tax, and I already have too many preorders out 😂

This should be $15 to make up for everyone who bought strider at full cost and then it was sold to clearance outlasts and sold for $9.99. What makes this piece of crap worth buying when it should be at outlet stores too
