Good news: Here comes my latest calm and relaxing piano music session you can listen to while working, studying, making small or big plans, letting your thoughts run free, during meditation, reflection, as a soundtrack during your ME time, and of course also simply to relax and enjoy. Of course during the day or during night, when you’re doing a night shift :)
Title: Night Shift | Type: original calm piano music session
I hope this finds you well!
Besides being simply another calm relaxdaily piano session*, "Night Shift" celebrates all those who work shifts or times that are off the main day times for personal and professional work. Road construction workers, nurses, emergency, security, transportation professionals, students, or the mom or dad who's doing work while their kids are already sleeping come to mind, but there are thousands or millions of other cases. Sometimes we shift work into the night, or quite early or late hours because it serves us well, it is true to our nature, it is the best solution, sometimes it means extra effort, it might be even unhealthy for some, but we don't see a better, healthier option, or maybe mismanaged our workload, or stuff we’re not really responsible for happened, or so. Night shifts can be occasional or continuous. Can be fun or the opposite. Can hurt health or for some not.
I actually sleep during most nights, and I'm super happy about that. This wasn't always the case. In my earlier years, I worked round the clock, in some phases until the early morning, and then got up at noon to continue. It was a not-so-healthy time for me personally. I'm not the night owl type. I'm aware, the world doesn't really sleep at night, though. Good that I can do so. But I'm thankful there are those who keep things rolling and do their best so the next day the rest of us can continue thriving. Thank you all night shifters!

*I’m Michael and I enjoy creating music. I play, compose and record mostly calm and peaceful tunes and share these here on the relaxdaily KZread channel since 2011.
Music can be much more than just pure entertainment. It can be a meaningful soundtrack that accompanies us through a moment, through a day, a phase, or through life.
Many use my recordings and piano music sessions as background music while reading, doing mind work, to achieve better focus, while studying, while being creative, while coding or designing a product, a service or the world of tomorrow. From your comments I know that my music also works as relaxing music (also stress relief, depression or anxiety dissolving music), spa or yoga music, or to set a calm tone at cafes, bars, lounges, in hotels and restaurants, mostly at a low volume.
This project is not as much about a genre as it is about a feeling. A way of life. With my tunes, I try to take a little heat and speed out of our generally quite busy lives. A soundtrack for you, when you feel the need for a calm and peaceful, light and positive tune, the relaxdaily way.

Point of 10:40 I welled up 🤧 I miss my Yamaha Baby Grand over a heartbreak I auctioned her off into the unknown. Life is full of regrets. Michael, your comments in the description really resonate with me today. I've been thinking a lot about how people struggle to maintain a healthy sleep schedule while also trying to achieve other things. It's nice to see someone else being aware of the various circumstances people might be in. I think this piano session (and your commentary) help us see the beauty in the night, so we can appreciate it a little more. Thank you Sharon! With music in the background for studying it’s different for different people. That’s what I learned over the years. Music choice and also the level. I’d prefer a very low level combined with noise cancelling headphones. Others need absolute silence. I finally got a new video specific light and could use it already on this one (shining from above). Also decided to record this session twice. The first one was way too wild for what I intend to share with the @relaxdaily project. The keys of my piano are very light and sometimes I tend to play way too vividly 😅 …I believe this take is OK?
