Welcome to Episode 4 of the "Teal Mask" DLC for Pokémon Violet! In this episode, we're starting with a SLIGHT detour, as I head back to Levincia in Paldea to take a look at the new options at the salon, since the Teal Style Card we got last episode unlocked a bunch of new things, and wouldn't you know it, they have some pretty cool new hairstyles! And you all should know by now that, for me, the aesthetic is always a top priority, haha.
But after that, it's back to Kitakami, where Carmine's grandfather, unable to repair Ogerpon's Teal Mask, sends Carmine and myself up to the hallowed ground of the Crystal Pool atop Oni Mountain, a mysterious place where the water glows with a powerful energy, and it's even rumored that one can convene with the dead.
Will this sidequest to repair the Teal Mask turn out alright? Will restoring the life-granting powers of the Teal Mask have any sort of unforeseen consequences? Will I ever actually remember certain Pokémon's base Speeds without having to Google them mid-fight? FIND OUT TODAY!!

Hey everyone, welcome to Episode 4 of the Teal Mask LP! Just in case you didn't see the Community Tab post, this will actually be the last episode I get up for the next couple days -- I've got a video editing commission I'm working on for a Twitch streamer, and considering it's editing down a 4-hour VOD, it's probably gonna take a couple days to do that, haha. So I'll get that done, and then try to record the next couple of episodes and get one of them up hopefully later this week! Hope everyone's September is going alright! Also, DRINK WATER.
Teal Mask Episode 4 comments - The undercut bob is a perfect choice for you, since it's also Sombra's style. (Hi, Artemis!) Also, with your blue hair, the bob with the center part kind of makes you look like Ezra from the early seasons of Star Wars Rebels. - 11:33 Congrats on another one! - Hey, I wasn't expecting a shout-out! That was pretty cool. - QOTD: I really relate to Makoto Nijima from Persona 5. We both did really well in high school but didn't have much of a life outside of that, only starting to form real lasting friendships in our senior year. This is a tiny bit of a spoiler, but Makoto's arc is all about her discovering what she wants to do with her life outside of what she's been taught to want, and at one point she and her older sister have a conversation that reminds me of an argument I've had many times with my mom. Plus, we're both the "mom friend" and designated driver of our respective friend groups.

Yeah, not gonna lie, I think I kinda subtly wanted the hairstyle because it reminded me of Sombra's hair, too, haha 😅
