Not really, Red was dead so the other set had to be either Super Poly or Opening. So you just flip Lovely to set your Daruma for their turn after you use your Extrav and keep Big-Welcome GY effect to bounce Albaz and stop the fusion. Arianna can get the 2nd Furniture and allow you to establish the field spell so that your Welcome will also get a pop and from that point it's pretty much gg. Copying Big-W in gy will allow you to bait either set while a "super poly" would only take away Lovely that if needed you can resummon with the set Big-Welcome. If we take into account the Imperm draw and that Ty-phon will be established one way or another, Field + Welcome pop + Big-W bounce + Imperm (that will revive something) means Branded will not come back, and if you want to be extra careful you can just use Welcome + normal Summon Arianna for Bagooska.

That lab player fucked up so bad game 3. Just make sky crisis for fucks sake. Also he chained called by to interrupt lady so he couldn’t chain to set a trap.

@14:20 Summon Lovely, CL1 pop CL2 Stovie (probably gets banished by Saro), and you pop the card in hand so that Albaz in EP doesn't have a discard. Setup places Black Goat + Barrier (preferably anything else easily activatable but anyway), Lovely sets Trap Trick from GY. Then if you want Lovely on the field you should have bounced Arias so that Lady becomes Ty-phon that bounces MJ and you run over the board or you bounce Lady and make Lovely into Ty-phon instead. The opponent now can use Titan for Quem that can discard anything (irrelevant), but even if the opponent draws Crossout for Barrier, Black Goat will be enough. Even if it isn't, Welcome can get Arianna to search for you a Big Welcome and use it to summon Lovely and destroy the BraFu once Tragedy sets it, or you can get Clock if Lady was allowed to grab a trap like Daruma and use it on them. Even if this isn't enough, there is still Trap Trick.

5:18 doesn’t know his hand and they could bystial Lovely… a lot of players dont discard lovely anymore because it can be banished by bystials and the opponent gave away they were running them

That lab player threw G1. Lady + Ari make Muckracker resummon lovely get an extra set THEN make Ty-Phon here using lovely. You get an extra set this way which can be daruma. I guess you leave them with 1 extra body but I highly doubt that matters in the grand scheme of things. There's also that missplay in DP that blocked him from getting an extra set from the drawn chand. Yeah he kinda threw

First game as well. At least it shows that the deck is actually difficult and can't win as easily as Floo with Feather Storm. Could easily be 3-0 since all games were very winnable and here the Lab player got severely punished.

Lab player hella misplayed game 3, they could’ve won easily. There’s no reason to go for Lovely off of Welcome without a Big Welcome in rotation, not to mention not making Sky Crisis when you have the opportunity because you have S:P tunnel-vision. That game 3 was atrocious for sure.

Branded is such an annoying deck to deal with vs a good player

The whole reason I prefer Branded Synchro is to make a mockery out of people that rely on D.Barrier, but if they're all like this it might not even be necessary.
