Ahh the serenity. The sound of the blinker... tik tok tik tok. The roaring of the engine, softened by its enclosure. All the beautiful lights, as you drift asleep. I love long drives like this. Most holidays I take a drive from where I live, Ohio, to Georgia, where I used to live,to see my mom. These drives are just so peaceful. My parents make it an all night drive, swapping places. I love the sounds

yes!! that’s why i’m here too! it also makes me feel like i have control of the situation cause i knew that this person felt comfortable driving & obviously they lived or they wouldn’t have been able to post this video, & it makes me feel weirdly comforted lol. it’s just a trauma thing i guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you lived close to a freeway you'd know that when you layed in your room hearing cars drive by you would get the feeling of you're at a beach for some reason

I go down this freeway all the time lmaoo no wonder it looked so familiar

I needed to look at this video to compare if a highway I was making in blender was accurate, and if the brightness of the vehicles/streetlights were also accurate. Thank you very much.

I don't think it's boring I never get out so this is a trip for me because I've never been out west

Back when I was in primary school, I used to spend a week or so of my summer vacation at my grandparents', at the countryside. Their village is on a hill overlooking the most important freeway in the country (Serbia), especially crowded in the summer when so many people are heading to Greece for vacation by car and our house is the last one in the village, high up the hill so it has a great view of the whole basin. When the sun sets, I used to get to the upper balcony of the house, sit in a chair and watch the cars and their lights moving fast in the distance and enjoy the silence of the hill mixed with a bit of the muffled freeway noise and a cricket here and there. For many reasons, this video gave me instant flashbacks of those summer nights, great feeling.

Your videos are excellent. I would love to see nighttime videos from Los Angeles to Sacramento or Oakland...... keep up the good work. Thanks.

The sky looks scary pass the Pacific coast highway Camino Ramblas overhead sign since the right side of the freeway facing the ocean is pitch black. Was this video taken at midnight since the sky is pitch dark in Capistrano beach at the interstate 5 California state route 1 interchange. The sky looks like this video was recorded at midnight. What time does it look like in the video at 54:46.

Don't you mean everywhere? Lol and it's because of the belts in the highways.. if they're going over. abridge but its I guess because they're going higher speeds on such open highways.. most states are like this anyways..

Looks indeed boring. If only cars were self-driving cars, then there would be very little difficulty to make the driving automatic (humans would be the biggest cause of any unexpected behaviours), and humans could just sleep while the car takes you to home instead of keeping looking at this boring road for the little chance of car accident.
