رسائل من اللَّه ﷻ .. { إِلَّا بَلَـٰغࣰا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِسَـٰلَـٰتِهِۦۚ وَمَن یَعۡصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۤ أَبَدًا } سُورَةُ الجِنِّ: ٢٣ . { ٱلَّذِینَ إِذَاۤ أَصَـٰبَتۡهُم مُّصِیبَةࣱ قَالُوۤا۟ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّاۤ إِلَیۡهِ رَ ٰجِعُونَ (١٥٦) أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ صَلَوَ ٰتࣱ مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡ وَرَحۡمَةࣱۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُهۡتَدُونَ (١٥٧) } سُورَةُ البَقَرَةِ: ١٥٦-١٥٧

It`s common in some masjids to have someone stand with quraan and follow incase the big sheigh makes a mistake in recitation. Nowadays they use the quran apps on the phone instead of the book because it`s easier. The reason for this is if no one else is available that is a big haafith that is very good in the quraan. They say it`s better because if the sheigh recites wrong it is very bad if no one can correct him.
