The rate at which our Igbo brothers are building mansions in their village is eye catching. I went to anambrastate last year. I couldn’t tell if I’m in the village or city the house in my neighborhood was mind blowing. Igbo Amaka

This is just something else. I thank God that this edifice is built on Ibo soil, kudos to the owner.

It called basement not underground ,many people have it in their houses ,there is no need to publicize it for security purposes. Nigeria with yanga.

Nigerians generally hate grass or green areas. I think they subconsciously associate it with “village” so they don’t see the need to implement green, flowers, etc.

The architect of this house is nice but the oversized gold furniture needs to go. The fake grass turf inside and outside is horrible too. I love the tiles and flooring also the staircase inside and out but the decor needs to change immediately.

The house is very fine but I think it’s high time we as Africans elevate our own traditional styles into our modern architecture. These British style homes are very nice but are also odd and out of place in a warm tropical environment like Nigeria. It’s high time we start valuing ourselves and our culture. From language, religion, even architecture, everything is import import import, no originality.

It's extremely beautiful but a useless display of wealth. Even if you have 10 children, one day they'll grow old and leave and you will be left with this big structure to live in. How many rooms can you sleep in at a time? People who have done similar in the past end up under utilising such houses or downsizing. Because of the size and luxury, it won't be easy to sell. It's to look at but from a personal level I wouldn't live in such a building. Imagine the maintenance cost alone.

Building a solid house for safety is good but the excessive and additional designs, decors, gold, etc. instead, I will use those resources to help the less privileged people, feed the poor, pay for their medical bills, etc. That's the mission that God wants us to carry out on earth. Thanks.
