The development shouldn't be selective, the entire country should be developed with good infrastructure and industries to curb unemployment. Nigeria development is past due as the country is blessed with abundant natural and human resources. Nigeria is a big joke as its educational system is poor and solely rely on raw materials exportation based economy rather than finished products. Nigeria has no light in the 21st century, so it can never be industrialised or truly modernized. It is using the West and Chinese as crutches , the respect and recognition it's seeking is an illusion, self reliance isnthe key. Highly corrupt country like Nigeria can never develop. Until Africa becomes a world power, no black man anywhere will be respected

Nigerian economy is twice the size of the remaining ECOWAS member nations it's rather to compare us with countries likely Egypt and south Africa.

While all these projects are very commendable, the completion is not in sight and yet the government has embarked on another very ambitious project called the Lagos -calabar coastal road of about 700km... Question: why can't the government complete one of the projects first before embarking on another one ...too many uncompleted projects dotted all over the country is making a mess ..

When they finish the road don't drive on it, the only doubting Thomas of this mega project is from one certain part of the country. Nonsensical.

First the eko Atlantic is already in it's phase 2, and most of the lands of been both and there are buildings already, it's not easy for everyone to build houses or a consortium to build their condos without appropriate funding plus, there are already 3 residential buildings there already, the US consulate construction as started, the lagos mass transit by the lagos state government and not federal government as commissioned the red line and blue line, intact the blue line has been operating for over 8 months and the phase is currently underway construction, the Abuja world trade centre currently has 2 buildings standing the rest are under construction, lekki free trade zone has been completed for more than a year and half by the lagos state government, the 4th mainland bridge is also by the lagos state government and demolitions will start this year hopefully, the lekki deep seaport has been completed, the centenary city is just like eko Atlantic, it's private people that will build not government so it won't be a ghost city, plus that coastal road already has funding, government is only funding 30 percent and the beginning stages of the road, the second phase funds have been released by FEC yesterday, there are so many projects ongoing in the country and most federal roads have been awarded to contractors, the minister for works has given ultimatum to Julius berger to go back and continue the construction of the east west road abandoned, it's not easy cause of funds also, the government is trying, the issue is food security and naira and also alleviate poverty, roads drives economic development, the president also commissioned 3 gas plants yesterday, we're moving from fossil fuel to CNG, fuel stations have been mandated to build CNG pumps
