Nigeria fought civil war for 3yrs and found oil but then Ethopia fought civil war for decades with no oil but famine and drought. Yet the big fool thought to ask the small spy to head their airline. Chaii!!! Nigeria you seriously have no shame and dignity. Pssssst! Sighs!!!!

Airlines should be buying foreign currency from the I&E (or even the parallel) market, instead of going to the CBN window. Nigeria shouldn’t be effectively subsidizing the operations of foreign airlines.

Aviation Operation should be left to the private sector. Government should concentrate on putting a solid regulatory agency in place. Governments (especially in Nigeria) are not known to run businesses well. There are so many things we can use the precious foreign currency on; not Aviation, being a very expensive and low-margin operation. We have a cemetery of failed ventures...Ajaokuta Steel Mill, Ikot Abasi Aluminum Smelting Plant, Nigeria Airways, NNSL, NNPC refineries, and a host of others. Without sounding negative, this too shall head in the same direction, because the current system is same or worse than the ones that birthed the failed ventures listed above.

We are the most negative minded people on earth that's wy our country is where its today we need to change our mindset I'm not saying we should trust our leaders but can we start from somewhere many of whom are commenting doesn't even have any power to change anything in this country the only things we do the best is to lift other country up and bring ours down' we are all guilty of corruption an average Nigerian is as corrupt as our leaders and yet we keep blaming everything on our leaders, it only takes one person to start a change.lets stop pointing fingers and start working withing ourselves.

I see soooo man planes in Africa with ash treys (PT: cinzeiro) as if when Pan Am and TWA went out of business in the 1300s that all the Africans bought their hand-me-downs 🤦🏻 It’s embarrassing.
