I used to listen to Farage on LBC before it became a leftist outpost of James Obrien who whines like a petulant child. I have to credit the re-moaner with curing my insomnia the need for sleep is greatly enhanced when I listen to his monochrome voice. I think it was a good move by GB news to hire Nigel Farage who has greatly boosted the ratings for GB news and subsequently beat the BBC and Sky in the numbers game. If Farage wants to chase the money trail, that's his prerogative. It's called capitalism, the only people who would disagree with this sentiment are Marxist idiots.

Another very interesting interview on, A Pint with Farage. Though Ken is the complete opposite political the two still could enjoy a respectful and entertaining chat together. I can't wait to see who Farage's next guest will be?

Farage really is excellent.

Plus the BBC gets funded by the licence fee so really should be streets ahead of every other channel but the viewing figures are pretty close so just shows you that GB news will probably be more popular in a few years

Khan makes it look like he not only shares the second name of a boxing talent but also uses that talent against his opposition. One of the best interviews I have seen in a long time, honest, open, reflective, amusing and educational. Credit to both parties. If only more people could behave like this we wouldnt have the divided mess that we live in today. Thanks to both.

I might not share all of his politics, but this man is a national treasure. I yearn for a time when political adversaries actually believed in something, rather than pretending to take a position in order to virtue signal.

Funny thing is that he finished exactly what he wanted, to get the UK out of the EU, so I wouldn't say he doesn't finish what he starts. He's achieved much more than either of us so personally I wouldn't be critiquing, but I guess that's just my opinion...

Ken is a genuine man although I’m right wing , I saw him ten years ago in Wembley walking a mate in a wheelchair all on his own , he’s a decent man 👍🏻

Can anyone tell me what was the point of regenerating the east end of London? We're merely making it more attractive to the millions of people around the world who decide to come and make London their home. Those families that lived in the East End for generations get nothing out of it, other than being priced out of ever owning their home and watching their community disappear.

This is the best part of Farage's show, shame it isn't a longer piece.

Compare Nigel interviewing Ken with Nigel's interrogation with James O'Brien. Nigel was listening, giving Ken time to explain himself. Nigel was jovial and made Ken at ease with his pleasant way of interviewing. That's how an interview is done, O'Brien - even when you may not agree with someone's politics.

To respect your political opponents is a sign of maturity in some. Well done to you both. 👍

I like that they listen then refect. They are poles apart, however they had a civil conversation

I had the great honour to work under Ken during his time as Mayor and he is a class act. Genuinely knows how to run a large city, knows the details of his areas of responsibility such as housing, economics and transport, came with a clear plan and knew how to deliver.

Livingstone does have a good record of achievements as London Mayor. He was more astute than any of the others in recent times.

Wish BBC and their ilk learn something from this brilliant example of an interview. Respectful, intelligent, and interesting conversation, without the need to demonise, cancel or demean each other.

My first thought when I saw the thumbnail for this was that he & Nigel had had a punch up. Good to see it was actually all very civilised.

When Ken announced free bus travel in London I thought it was fantastic. A great way to get people to ditch cars. I was so surprised it received such criticism.

@@Torquemadia Doesnt matter if they're not in power. Whos in power just means who gets to set the rules across the UK. The cons have to set left wing policies to hold on to votes and not give lebs talking points that will win them votes. People who keep saying such and such arent in power, so arent to blame, really dont understand politics. Labour is in power of most big citys. Khan sets most of the rules in london. Boris signs them off.

I’m no left winger but what I love about both Ken and Nigel is that they are real people, they are normal people having a chat and not afraid to tell there opinion which is a very refreshing change from the elite party leaders of the tories and Labour.

I literally don’t agree with anything NF says, but he’s an absolutely marvellous personality and is probably single-handedly turning GBN around.

This was great! I never liked Ken Livingstone as a politician, but he came across as a nice bloke thanks to Nigel Farage. This is how you do a decent interview.

Haven't heard those names for years, Bellos, Knight. A bygone era, finished now, Went to many of the GLC gigs in the 80s. Used to see him walking around the West End a lot. London is changing fast. How did it come to this.

Having lived in London for 13 years and many of which Sadiq has been at the helm, I can safely say he is a thoughtful and pragmatic mayor who considers the disparate needs of the communities across London. It really is impossible to please everyone all the time, let's be honest.

Excellent - these interviews - bring a smile - make you sit up and listen to the truth - nice one again Nigel and hats off to Ken - never met the guy but you can see he really believes unlike the tosh that want to be tv stars

Brilliant, a fair and honest chat. To be encouraged. Nigel is doing a superb job with this section.
