Nier Replicant/gestalt came first in that department, and if you want to count Zone of the enders 1 too because there was multiple versions of one song and it would change depending on the situation

You know what comes to mind when I hear this song? A tribe of strange people performing some bizarre ritual to celebrate/bring about the birth of a terrifying yet beautiful being...which is...more or less exactly what happened.

This feels like this game's equivalent of One Winged Angel. I love it.

I've always been fascinated by the "language" used in NieRs soundtrack. I can tell that it has elements of German, Japanese and Latin in it. At times, it also sounds a little Nordic. It really is a melting pot, and it's freaking awesome.

Catherine J.G i know this is 5 months ago. But for the new readers.. NieR's song's language is a manmade future language, combination of English, Japanese, French. (From research) Based on them.. Japanese would sound like that in 10,000 or so on. In the far far faaaar future.

I'm German and I cannot see where you hear German in this song. Japanese mixed with other languages sounds reasonable to me, I don't understand anything though

Its both the first Adam and The Factory Cults Theme, the lyrics are just Different depending on which you are faceing

I love this. Birth of a Wish is probably my favorite track from the game and quite possibly my favorite boss theme from any game. I love singing along with it and now with this it'll be a little easier. Props to you bro.

I wonder if anyone has ever found out the structure and rules of this language based on how the words are spelled, used, and pronounced. We may not know what they mean (because they were never given meaning) but maybe we can attempt to recreate what they used.

This is actually Father Servo's theme. Adam's theme is End of the Unknown. Still a nice video nonetheless.

Ekenwars Actually, I would argue that this song isn't anyone's theme, especially not Father Servo's theme. It first plays at Adam's birth, and then in multiple intense fights, including sidequests and the prelude to the Abandon factory lower levels. End of the Unkown is Adam and Eve's shared theme, the song that plays in the fight in this video is "Copied City".

Platinum has nothing to do with the angelic language, The language spoken here is "Chaos Language" which was invented by Studio MoNaCa and Emi Evans, the writing is indeed angelic though
