Legend 1999 was the title of the show - it was late June 2013 celebrating Yui's and Moa's 14th birthdays. They were born in 1999 They had another show in December 2013 titled Legend 1997 for Su's 16th birthday. Earlier in the show Yui and Moa had gone to the dark side as Black BABYMETAL singing 'Onedari Daisakusen' and they had been put under a spell and frozen. When they came up through the floor they were still frozen but Su released them from the spell. The neck braces they were wearing are a tribute to the drummer from X Japan (Yoshiki) who damaged his neck headbanging while performing and he has to wear a neck brace ever since. BABYMETAL use the neck brace a lot in their performances and in their lore and they have had some shows where everybody in the audience had to wear one. Yoshiki is also a classical pianist and has a crystal piano so the piano Yui and Moa sat at (and pretended to play) was another tribute to him. This was the first time 'No Rain, No Rainbow' was performed and it has still only been performed live 5 times. Each time Su has got better and become more confident with it - it was left off the first album because she was not satisfied she was getting the emotion across properly. Only after another performance where she saw people crying in the audience did she realise she could effect people emotionally with her voice and she was happy for the song to be included in the second album released in 2016.

Nice reaction, thanks! Very emotional song and extremely beautiful. This was the world live premiere of this song so it's very very special and even more when you know that this one has been played live just five times. It could be included on their first album but Su wasn't comfortable with her performance (she believed that he wasn't able to make justice to the song). Damn, she totally was!!! Fortunately, she changed her mind when she spot some people in the crowd crying. And that is the same effect she causes to me every time I listen to this. Yep, she is SU-METAL while she's on stage. Yep, the X-Japan thing was a compilation. See you next time!

@@user-fv7mo1fk2i if play non-stop, it can get blocked / partial block / demonetized. If it gets blocked 3 times in 90 days, the channel will be suspended by KZread. If get demonitized, the channel can not generate money for itself (CMIIW). Playing without pause has risk. We don't want trouble for reactor's channel. :)

I think I have watched the "Legend 1999" show only once, and I didn't even remember that they had performed this song back then already. Su's performance got even better with time, but even this one manages to make me cry. It's such a good song, and her voice is perfect. We know that Moa had guitar lessons, and there's a ultra-cute video of Yui playing the flute, but I have never heard of any of them playing the piano. I know that BABYMETAL + X Japan video, and personally I think it's a pretty stupid idea. I don't understand why anyone would put time into creating something like that.

Yui and Moa were zero years old. : ) I'm surprised more people don't do the math, and make a lucky guess what the "1999" stands for. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This was the world premiere of 'No Rain, No Rainbow'. It's only been performed five times, including both of the 'Legend S' performances. Kami Band member Leda Cygnus is officially credited with the song arrangement and was on stage the first three times this song was performed.

The thing around Yui and Moa's neck are neck braces (cervical collars). It goes back to the days just after the song Headbanger and used in their cult theme they do as part of their shows. In one of their concerts everyone in the audience got an inflatable neck brace and wore them during the show. During the show all all the neck braces lit lit up all at once. It looked really cool. You will also see Yui and Moa put a neck brace on Su during Babymetal DEATH.

At that time, Japan was more hurt by the earthquake and tsunami than it is now ... This song healed me.
