What I find interesting is that it's real! Unlike fictional creepypastas, though, it doesn't affect your device, or account, or any of that, just makes things looks weird I once did it as a kid and it FREAKED me out If anything, though, it's more of a creepy Easter egg Edit: huh, I don't remember an entity, I only remember it looking weird (and instead of blank squares it was a list of icons, I don't remember needing a tiger either. At least I don't *remember)*

Yea as far as I remember at some point the blank squares were kind of texture sheets for all the animal skin icons and other assets for the game

This is no creepypasta, nothing is unexplained. 1. NiddHogg name is just the default placeholder for undefined strings/text 2. The white boxes are just the default placeholder images for undefined 3. The black fish clan icon is from the old TRG games, and yet again it's the default placeholder for undefined 4. The reason the player model had clothes on in this video is because the animal is set to default, so 0 - 0 = wolf so, it's simply the clothes the wolf had on and you can test this by changing them 5. The level 33 is actually 0.33, it just shows the the 33 part. It's 0.33, because the lowest level possible is 1/3. Additional info: - Nidd is the username of the CEO of TRG, which is why it was chosen as the default for strings.

Heres a story A couple of months ago when I was playing wildcraft, I was decorating my den in multiplayer and then a friend request popped up. Now, this wasn’t any normal friend request… it was weird. It had the EXACT same icon as niddhogg (the icon being the square of different animals and items) Unfortunately, I didn’t take a screenshot, but now I wish I did. To this day, idk if it was simply a glitch or something darker…

I have an explanation. The reason why Niddhogg appears in the game is due to glitches related to multiplayer and wifi. It could be done in single player but then wouldn't be as effective as it would immediately ask you to choose a map. It is a combination of all TRG icons including the cat simulator, dog simulator, wildcraft, and more. The reason why it exists is because, as you know, TRG has a ton of glitches bugging around everywhere which has led to this. However, sometimes, you don't see those icons like in your case in the family tab probably due to incompatibility perhaps? The reason why it has the name NiddHogg is due to the programming of trg's games. That programming is not good. Perhaps this bug existed much before we knew, back in the andreno 17 version of wildcraft and trg was probably making some locks to it so that it would need this combination of WiFi and multiplayer to access and, I'm guessing that someone probably found out the way to do it and revealed the glitch to the world three years ago. (This is just my theory and is not 100% confirmed)

I somehow found a way to summon Niddhogg, but not in WildCraft, in DogSim. I did it accidentally a few years ago so it might be patched, but it's worth a try. 1) do the play as a pup in multiplayer glitch 2) age the pup up to adult 3) exit the game entirely 4) when you go back, your dogs' names should be Niddhogg and their levels should be 33. How to revert it? 1. Exit the game again 2. Go back OR 1. Go to multiplayer 2. Age by 1 level It should be fine then, please let me know if you encounter some problems with this glitch.

@@pabradford1 Yeah, they're made by the same company. I did some research, and Niddhogg is just a programation code some programmers use to set up some stuff, but players broke the game's mechanics somehow and it showed up as a placeholder to something.

NiddHogg is the default name in Wildcraft, I assume, 33 is probably the default level or something. Back in the good old days you were able to change your gender with this glitch and get two babies at once, so thats why I already knew about it and never thought of it as some sort of Creepypasta. Sadly they fixed the baby thing as far as I know, so no more twins. This glitch can also be used to confuse your game into thinking that the mystic skin you have for one animal actually belongs to the other. It will show this in the animal selection, but sadly you can't use it to get free skins, only to make it look like you have them (not in-game though). If you want to know how exactly it works, you will probably find some videos about it on yt.

It feels illegal to be this early- Edit: After the step where you go to collections there's also the fact that both genders are selected! Edit 2: Apparently NiddHogg used to be a default bear when first discovered, and instead of the white [X] icons it used a jumble of every single texture/sprite in the game, and there was (idk if it still works or how it worked) a way to spawn NiddHogg without being stuck in the menu. It made all the grass the same jumbly mess of every sprite as the icons and also made the sky black. I might try the new glitch out though, I'll tell you what happens. Edit 3: I was distracted from summoning NiddHogg by something else really weird

I have a story. I got into a Wild Plains game in multiplayer for fun, and after a good while, pets began to spawn over and over at the starting point in the game. First were deers, then bunnies, so on, so on. They were all named Niddhogg, and they never stopped joining. Every minute at least, another of the same pet kept appearing, until the spot was filled with all different pets, just standing there with the same name, Niddhogg.

i think i know why the dead fish clan icon is there. (and why niddhogg got into the game) a few months ago, i was doing some research about the niddhogg glitch, and found out that the dead fish icon was from trgs cat sim game. for the niddhogg glitch, i seen a video where someone said the niddhogg glitch came from cat sim, because someone downloaded a hacking game and hacked cat sim, and somehow, when trg was in the process of making wildcraft, the niddhogg files got into wildcraft. (i don't know if this is true or not, i just wanted to share it)

Back then, I used to do the glitch all the time. It helped me to change the gender of my character, and it glitched items I DIDNT own, onto my character and it stayed, basically giving me a free item (it leaves if you change it) it’s pretty fun and the least scary in my opinion

Something like this happened to my sister and I, this happened at different times, but our games are still affected by this. The whole menu and everything else was a little transparent, and some of the names were fused with the word "Niddhogg" and the skins that were available with wild club, were just called "Niddhogg". And both of our games are still like this.

Heres a wildcraft story: I was playing in multiplayer, and this player named "ooc0d3XXXXXXXX" joined my game. At first i didn't think about it much, they looked like ghost fox. they were lvl 11. I think they were a hacker... they were floating above me... i left as quick as i could.. ( You can tell this story )

Huh, I actually have WildCraft on my original phone, but when I downloaded another one on another phone because I didn't want to reset my old data on the other one, a strange glitch happened when I just opened my app the second time after playing in singleplayer, everything was transparent and I see the name "NiddHogg* everywhere in the buttons like "Wild Pass" "Singleplayer" and "Multiplayer", kind of creeped out so I closed the app and joined again and it's gone.. I felt I'm being watched plus this is real frfr I experienced the first ever glitch Edit: Plus, I heard about him before because I saw some of my recommendations about this Creepypasta on KZread. I don't know him and I didn't know that he was real and was lurking around the game, really horrified, at least he does NOT harm any of our accounts.

Nidhogg is also a glitch present in dragon simulator, basically if you do this glitch the image of the dragons on the mapp will appear glitched and if you get out of singleplayer and click on multiplayer you'll be able to play with the baby dragon even if you don't have one (in dragon sim its not possible to play with baby characters)

I have had an odd experience with Niddhogg, my whole account was logged out of, so maybe people shouldn’t mess with the glitch anymore. My whole account was lost and I don’t really enjoy WildCraft after what happened.

I am quite late with this comment but I love Norse mythology so, fun fact: Nidhogg is a dragon in Norse mythology that eats the roots of the world tree Yggdrasil the name means dread biter and its arch nemesis is an eagle.

Omg after this, I did the glitch, it worked! My sister is sleeping but in the morning I am showing it to her 😂 but that was sick bro, the thing was like buggy and what not, but niddhogg didn’t have the red suit thing on, instead he had a scar on his eye, I didn’t have it but I was looking at it earlier when before I was going to the multiplayer server

Once when i was really little with this game i started attacking my wolf mate because i was waiting for a task after a while my mate's skin turned all black with red eyes and started attacking me i don't know if that is possible or not. (can you please try to look into this?)

One time i encountered with niddhogg but i didnt see anything when i join in wildcraft everything was faddy or just dull and wilted everything was replacd with NIDDHOGG every single wording i was scared for my account so i rejoined and it was gone.

Guys, I tried this myself and this worked perfectly!!!!!! I was shocked, but you don’t actually need a Tiger for this glitch just do it the old way, it still works but there are different things about the menue of the glitch. So to conclude, you can use any animal.

Niddhogg can turn your wolf skin to a Wild Club skin even if you don't actually do have the Wild Club skin. Also when i summon it instead of the White square Profiles there's a Picture of all the skins and Clan icons.

I've been wanting to share this for a long time but anyways I was playing with my lion in Savannah when i was about to leave to go to multiplayer it showed my lion in a default skin i didnt think much about it but as i continue playing the game i was playing with my cheetah and the same thing happened again I didnt think much abt it so i went to the home screen and customize my lion and when i was gonna customize the other members they're profiles were all glitched and had niddhog as their name i panicked cuz i knew it was really him so i went to see what my tiger looks like.. it was not even there even i try to play as tiger but it wont let me so i tried playing as a transformation and it kinda works but i can't go in multi. So i went to go in ocean world and back to wild world and it worked. I joined a random server and checked if i was alright and normal every was normal and i went back to home screen to check my tiger it was alright! No glitched icons i dont really know if this only happened to me.

4:00 Niddhogg is NOT acctualy a tiger. For example: If u play as your cheetah a cheetah will apear a cheetah or if u play with wolf a wolf will apear. NiddHogg is acctualy an error. HOPE THIS INFORMATION HELPS!!!!

What's funny is that I've encountered the name Niddhogg before, In a Dragon Simulator game NOT by TRG. I don't exactly remember, since while changing to a new phone the ss was erased, but I do remember it was a dragon sim. Sometimes I wonder if Niddhogg had different origins than TRG. As said, it could be that the bug originated since the start of Wildcraft itself, but may be it just wasn't found. I've seen the design of Wildcraft's lion(ess, specifically. And those already existed. Only the design was of Wildcraft. That story for another time.) in a completely different game with a completely different developer. It's possible that the Concept of Tiger existed in the very start but was scrapped. Due to popular demand, perhaps it was brought back? Niddhogg is a mystery. If anyone ever decodes those symbols from when Niddhogg was actually discovered (the jumbled symbolic sprites for icons), if they have a specific meaning, then it might just reveal something much big.

Hey, violet so on my main menu in wildcraft the buttons are kinda transparent but I can still see them. But on names like what animal it is or what my animals names are, it says niddhog on top of those words. Why is that?

If you use another animal, even if you do not have the red suit, it will still show up on your animal not just the tiger

Huh- I've been doing this glitch on my account for a very long time just for fun and to change animals gender. I had no idea this whole time I was messing around with a creepypasta 😂 I saw the names for all my animals as "Niddhogg" but just shrugged it off as weird 😭

I tried niddhog when i was like 4 or smth but the worst part is i did it at night- I found so many glitches or creepypastas on any other games like im a detective or smth

So today I was trying to do the change gender glitch with the bear and I found NiddHogg as a bear so how it looked it had the normal bear skin and the grey armor (Also if you do the NiddHogg glitch to much you can get permanently banned)

OMG I DID THIS GLICH AND IT WORKED but when I did it he was wearing a blue jumpsuit BUT OTHERWISE THAT WAS SO COOL THX VIOLET❤❤
