Ғылым және технология

Babies with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) are among the most fragile in the neonatal intensive care unit. More at www.chop.edu/cdh
Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is a complex and challenging anomaly in which attention to every tiny detail is crucial to achieving the best outcomes.
Experts from the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia discuss the advantages of delivering a baby with CDH in the Special Delivery Unit, where the newborn/infant intensive care unit (NICU) and cardiac ICU are nearby, and families can visit as frequently as they want. They also talk about the role of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in bypassing the fragile lungs of babies with CDH.

Can’t wait to come down and meet everyone at CHOP soon! I haven’t met any of the doctors here but 100% trust them with me and my CDH baby already.
