Nicole and Joel have some cute kids. They've grown so much. And it seems like Nicole and Joel have grown as in come more into themselves over the years. I've always liked Nicole and it just makes me feel good to see how her family has grown over the years. Lionel is a supportive dad. And it was good to see Nicole's mom as well.

Lionel adopted Nicole. His daughter Sofia is pregnant now. Nicole got very lucky and she's been humble and grateful. Congrats for Sofia ❤ A beautiful young woman with every reason to shine ✨️

Brenda never get any media acknowlegement as Nicole's mother. Nor do they ever acknowledge the significant role she played in being Lionel's first longtime wife. She was his right hand in the beginning of his Commodores career and she was his wife during the height of his solo career. She raised Nicole the entire time Lionel was here and there with other women after they divorced but media never acknowledge Brenda they only speak about Lionel, even though He is the Star of the family and has a younger daughter from his second family seeking fame who is also oftentimes mentioned more so than Brenda's existence. Back in the day In the earlier years before Nicole got older, Entertainment Tonight always often interviewed Brenda as she was always arm in arm with Lionel. But since their very public incident of Lionel infidelity with a much younger woman who became the mother of his other two children, Brenda was ostracized seem like. Media don't even mention her presence most times. I wish they would show a little more respect towards Brenda Ritchie. But Nicole always mention the love she has for her Mother Brenda and that's good enough. Bravo to Nicole.

Wow everybody is mentioning how Nicole look so much like Jasmine Guy when all I ever thought is how much Nicole always looked like actress Charlene Tilton who played Lucy Ewing on Dallas. I do see Jasmine Guy features but Nicole has always remind me of Charlene Tilton.

Its my understanding that Nicole is Sheila E niece biologically. Sheila E brother is a known musician who was the head musician on The Arsenio Hall show's band, his last name is Espenosa. He knew and played for Lionel in his younger years as a musician when he was with Nicole's natural mother and they agreed to let Lionel and his wife Brenda (the woman standing next to Nicole) adopt her when she was a little girl. Ot was my understanding that Brenda wasn't able to have children. They all been pretty open about how it came about back then and they all have a very loving relationship as Nicole's parents.
