Nicola could hang out with her grandmother 365 days out of the year. Victoria Beckham can only celebrate her 50th milestone birthday once in her life with her family. I'm just not buying this. There's def something odd going on behind the scenes.

Or maybe there’s a reason her elderly grandmother needs her there? She could be sick or lonely. Even if Nicola doesn’t get along with Victoria like the rumours say, they’ve out hung out enough times on family vacations and events that it seems weird to assume that she couldn’t attend a birthday party.

The grandmother could die at any given day. Victoria will have at least another 10 birthdays. Grandmother you love > parent in law.

Grandmother's don't have long to live. Victoria is not Nicola's actual mother in any shape or form other than being an inlaw. Granny can drop dead at any given day. Victoria will have at least another 10 years to celebrate being in her 50s. I'm sure she would have spent most of her attention on anyone other than Nicola had she gone. Y'all need to stop letting people's status triumph over what really matters.
