derry girls is by far the funniest series i have ever seen. hard for me to understand because of the accent and being german, but so so so so worth it. just brilliant. lisa mcgee is a creative and comedic genius.

@@byrdbox - sure. I'm aware that any time there's an adaptation of something they will change things. But if they had changed Penelope being Mrs. Whistledown - it would have been too much of a change. Not online with the story. They changed details about Marina - a character that doesn't really appear in the books. She's there but only for Phillip & Eloise's story. Eloise never met her. Maybe she had as children as they were related distantly. My comment was mocking the secret that "no one knew"
