I’ve only ever been shown parades of nudists (not even LGBTQ+ related, but instead misattributed to fit the anti-LGBTQ+ agenda) and how a tiny amount of people are problematic while then looking at the stats of that same/similar thing outside of LGBTQ+ people can actually be more likely/widespread. So, again, it’s largely targeting of this group by misinterpreting/misrepresenting things for a hate-fueled agenda (when the vast majority are just decent people) which people with a bias against those different from them or otherwise don’t understand just follow along with without taking a critical eye at what’s been presented.

As presumably wrong as the the Doc was for doing what he did, one can't help but feel like this is all somehow related. I wish we could see those messages, because I feel like they were probably pretty basic. All these platforms are doubling down on the demographic they desire, and getting rid of the ones they don't.

This is a blessing. From what I can tell reading the tea leaves, there's about to be massive leaks and lawsuits for all of Twitch anyways. (Not just the Doc situation) People might want to diversify their streaming platforms.

Nick has been a little OD with all that stuff. Then add in the doc stuff, he just keeps talking. The only problem I have with anything he's said is him backtracking on his friendship with doc. He used to say he was a friend then went to "I only know the guy in the disguise." I got no problem with people living how they want, but Nick is clearly uninformed on most of the stuff he talks about

I didn't even realize people my age still said the slur that Nick used. It violated the terms and service of the platform he was USING. He can have free speech, but that doesn't mean he's free from consequences when he's on someone else's platform. If someone called me the N-word or the F-word, they would also be banned. He can say that slur as much as he wants, but where he says it still matters and he still has to uphold the terms of service or go elsewhere. I am not sure if people actually read the terms of service when they sign up, but maybe people should start. Free speech is part of the first amendment but that doesn't apply to private capitalistic companies. I am baffled how people still seem to get that confused.

I think for a lot of people, myself included the main issue is this. You can live your life however you want, so long as it doesn’t negatively affect others. The ONLY issue I have with the subject is subjecting, introducing, and encouraging these things into our CHILDREN’s lives before they are old enough to truly understand and make their own decisions. Also when it comes to inclusivity in things such as sports and shared restrooms. Those are lines that are crossed that breaks what is and a should be comfortable for those who aren’t LGBTQ
