The rap industry is a game (metaphor to " street fighter ") and Nicki is the Chun-Li on this rap game. when nicki said " i been storm, x-men been formed " She stayed in this analogy that the industry is a game. X-Men = her group " Young Money " with Lil Wayne, Drake, Tyga… " plates say chun-li, drop the benz off " plates say chun… / PLAYSTATION it’s a play on world, street fighter is a game played on a PlayStation. and when Nicki said at the end of this song " give me the passworld to the fkn wi-fi " i think it’s only her true fans that can decypher this… her song " Chun-Li " is her comeback single to her 4th studio album after being in a hiatus… so when she said this phrase, it means like she is back ON set.

She wrote Chun-Li in one sitting by herself in "a couple of hours" and she was done with it - released as a single so that's why it's not all complicated. Went Top 10. People must be suggesting weird songs for you given that you're looking for bars. But you're always gonna get alot of chorus and a random sung verse somewhere usually - that's her style.

As an Asian woman, I'm not impressed. Chun Li was a highly stereotyped character whose signature move was to spin upsidedown with her legs spread. Her shirt was always torn open. And when other characters beat her up, it looked like sexual violence. Am I supposed to relate to Nicki because she put chopsticks in her hair and called herself 'Ding Dong' ? (A very offensive way to portray Chinese names). I'm off to find clean content to wash out this memory.
