I'd not heard of these until this video so thanks for sharing. It's always great to hear new artists - particularly talented ones. I see you guys are Tool fans - they are one of my fave bands and seen them live a few times since 2001. A couple of bands that remind me of them which you should check out are 'Chevelle' and 'Earshot' but they are more underground bands (the latter particularly).

Nickel creek is incredible! I have loved everything they have done since like 2000. I can’t wait for you guys to do Punch Brothers too!

Chris and his family were former neighbors of mine in Idyllwild in the early 90's . I've seen them at least a dozen times, all while they were teenagers and every time was magic!...Thanks for this reaction, it brings back some great memories.

It's so cool to see videos of them playing together when they were like 14 yrs old. I just saw them about a month ago and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I only knew 1 song going into it.

Been watching you guys for mainly Sleep Token stuff, but it makes me really happy to know you appreciate one of my other favorite bands as well!

That was great! I haven't heard of them before so thanks. Have you heard of an artist called Ren? He's an independent British artist with amazing talent which is so diverse he can't be categorized. He does a couple of duets with a female artist called Chinchilla which I think you would enjoy. 'Chalk outlines' and 'How to be me', both live 'one take' videos. They are serious in terms of subject but really beautifully performed. However, before you go down this mind expanding rabbit hole, I strongly recommend starting where most of us did with 'Hi Ren'. It is a rare gift to anyone with an open mind about music, you won't regret it trust me! It will also get you floods of views from the army of 'Renegades' like me who are addicted to reactions of his work. Cheers.

Ok, we've got to get you two up to speed. You need to check out Stevie Ray Vaughan, "Texas Flood" LIVE at El Mocambo. (You have to watch Stevie Live), the other is Etta James, "I'd rather go blind" LIVE at Montreaux 1975. It's an iconic performance and her voice will change your life.

Having reacted to The Warning, and now Nickel Creek, if you react to Eva Cassidy, you will hit my ultimate trifecta. The Lighthouse's Tale is what attracted me to Nickel Creek. It is on the same album as this one (and produced by Alison Krauss). The wife's favorite is The Smoothie Song. For a really fun reaction, you should react to Toxic, first by Brittney Spears, the Nickel Creek, and then The Surfrajettes. Lastly, if you like mandolin, you should watch Sierra Hull's Black Rain. P.S. Nickel Creek (in concerts) would break up the song The Fox in the middle verses with the song ... Yellow.

Thank you for this enjoyable reaction video. Never heard of them before but I was pleasantly surprised. May I suggest thay you react to Angelina Jordan. She started singing at the age of 18 months. Considered by many in the music business as one of todays best vocalists if not the best. To say that she will blow your socks off is an understatement. (Don't worry I'll replace them for you lol) I Put a Spell on you kzread.info/dash/bejne/oKt6ztF8gLvgc9Y.htmlsi=YpY1xJMWitB29GeH age 9 Unchained Melody kzread.info/dash/bejne/iqyY16mMmqSwc9I.htmlsi=fmnjv3PNxq1Hy1Io age 17 at a Nobel Peace Prize tribute event Thank you and keep up the good work.

Interesting, but I’ll have to listen to more. The music was great and as you say the harmonies are lovely. I just found a few of the mandolin notes a bit jarring. Are they a band with a mandolin player in it, or is it a mandolin player with a band behind him???

Chris Thile is a bit eccentric as a mandolin player but a complete genius. They have been playing together since they were all 12 I believe. Sara Watkins has been a collaborative force in female blue/newgrass in her own right. They are all brilliant but absolutely Thile will get lost on stage and everyone just has to go along with his mind for the ride.
