@@eugeliceistruecanon1678 problem was they were 90s in the 00s and people wanted to move on i guess 🤔. I put Nickleback up there with Rush and the Barenaked Ladies as a fellow Canadian. They had great songs even using Burn it to the Ground as RAWs theme for a while.

The only problem with Nickelback is that a lot of their songs sound very similar. I personally have a few Nickelback songs that I like, but I've not listened to them a lot.

Chad kroger just cant write music for shit honestly. Most of his songs are jus bland and repetitive. Especially after the silver side up album. Tho every song hes ever sung for that he didnt write was amazing at absolute least.

Nickelback does not deserve all the hate they get and you can not convince me otherwise

It is good but it doesn't have the raw emotions as the original. The orignal you hear more humanity in the singers voice. This has emotions, but it more studio style and polished then the original. I like it but to me the original is superior.

This is absolutely incredible! The solo volcaist nailed it so frickin' hard and the guy who also sang and played all the instruments blew it out the park! You two are a powerful duo!!

Good cover as always. I don't mind hearing more nickelback covers soon like "if everyone cared", "if today was your last day", and "hero" (even though "hero" isn't actually a nickelback song, it still sang by the same singer of nickelback). I also still want to listen to the cover versions of "you're not me" and/or "shadow games" from the yu-gi-oh! the movie soundtrack.

You should be more embarrassed about not being able to admit what you like tbh…What scratches your brain is what scratches your brain. Artistically theres no reason to be ashamed of the music anyone listens too. Every song made speaks to someone in SOME way. Whos anyone to decide what that means😉

This is legit what heaven feels like. The delivery of this song is easily on par with the original. I won't compare the two, because I'm sure that's not the goal, but in its own right, this song is stellar. You guys deserve all the love you're getting, you're both insanely talented.

Back when I was in high school, last year at the time I'm writing this comment, I remember my driver would crank this song up. Now I'm not a huge fan of metal, but I think this is by far, one of my most favorite metal songs. As several people have said, this band should not be receiving so much criticism. This cover is payback and it sounds absolutely fabulous.
