    @@MIIIB hey you never talk about your sizing. How did you size your Nicks compared to your brannock? Do you own any 55 or 11067 last boots? I just got a Prospector (11067 last) in 11E, and it fits well, but I wonder if I could possibly even fit into a 10.5EE. I am an 11.5D on brannock and most of my boots are 11-11.5, but these Nicks in 11067 seem to still have some room up front. I also hear people talking about 1 full size down from brannock, instead of the 1/2 size down Nick’s recommends. I guess I’m wondering how different an 11E and 10.5EE are in size.

    @EDHblvd hey brother !!! A big apology for passing the size question. I am 9 EE Brannock and use 8.5EE Nicks HNW and 55 last, same with Whites 55. I can go EEE wide or even F but I like tight on the sides, after breaking that stretch, and fit perfectly. Some people compensate width Brannock and go a size up with long D shoes. I think if you fit well with 67 last and size stay there. If a composite toe may feel like a lot of room but the best way to know if is half-size long check the ball. Flex your foot and check where is the flexing in the up portion of the vamp. That will guide you to understand if your foot fits correctly

    Are you saying that everything that it makes all the bottom part of one of the most well made boot (leather insole, leather shank, leather midsole and leather stack heel) is now in testing terms and posible a slow replacement with the same cheap alternative that all mass produce boot brands does? 🤔 i wonder if they star looking for a price cut or a posible “lower price alternative “ just wonder!. Great videos! And a beautiful big collection you have! Thanks!!

  • @MIIIB

    @MIIIB

    Hey Jorge Saludos! Well I got a boot to review myself at not cost with a reduce shaft size. The exactly purpose was to check the new brown color. The boot have same leather upper, bottom, eyeleta, gusset, kiltie, pull-up and insole. They substitute the midsole with rubber and place a full Vibram made in USA full sole. I think we can't confuse that a change of midsole will make the boots inferior . I been testing hard the booot around water, doing tons of plumbing work. My backup boots when raining, are those, goes in my truck all the time. My point is those boots have a purpose, and work better than traditionals in that specific area. The flexing vamp is marvelous, just imagine carrying a PNW quality with movements like a tennis shoe. About price is hard to say if need to reduce bc the boot is last like all others, the eyelets, gusset, and all leather is exactly like all traditionals, the stitching is the same one, they cut the rubber and glue and stitch the outsole, the same labor like traditional boots. Maybe the heel stack portion they save? About $50 dlls less? The rubber midsole is top quality. Hard to say if they should move the price. Mass productions ? No way. Still handmade with machinery, but stitching, lasting, cutting, hardware is done by hands. I had seen manny comments on different platforms and I'm not a Nick's seller. Whites have a similar boot. If that one feela better take it, I believe is cheaper. Ultimately is what you gravitate more.... Would I buy a 365 boot? Short answer:NO. I'm old school and traditional is what I like better. However, I know people that like Nicks but they don't want the heavy boot, this is a perfect model for starters and those wanting a hiking, hunting or water resistant boot. I can tell you the midsole and heel stack being in contact with water in long periods those get very stiff. My own pair of chocolate RO I couldn't be comfortable with the midsole that stiff after many mud and water. I'm glad of having a pair that never loose the flexing vamp and comfort no matter the conditions. Thanks for the comment brother. 👍
