Rough translation Basically all he knows is fighting and they took it away from him with suspension, but he feels he won anyway because he made enough money to feed his family. He doesn't want Nate to have to fight because he wanted to be the one to have to fight and support his family so feels guilty watching Nate get kicked in the face etc. The UFC have fucked him over because he built the platform on which it stands today and was dropped like a hot potato because he wanted a fair price. He still feels he's beating the UFC because he's opening a new gym and giving something back to the community. He's been on the scene from the beginning street fighting and back yard brawling so masvidal is not bringing anything new to the table. Nick has a problem with masvidal saying he's gonna baptise Nate and it's gonna be masvidals problem if they fight. Nick hates fighting and only does it because it's all he knows and if anyone wants it then come and get it. He would rather have been competing in the New York marathon than watching the fight. That's my interpretation anyhow

These guys will end up all fucked up later. You have to be patient and realistic when talking to long distant fighters that take massive head hits. Nick and Nate Diaz can take 100 headshots and still fight and that’s not a good thing for their brains but for fans sure.

One of my favorite Coherent Nick Diaz interviews is when he said he never wanted to fight or for Nate to fight, he just wanted them to make it in the world. He said he didnt want to leave Nate high and dry like their father did.. His younger brother is worth over 8million dollars and has a child now whom hes there for everyday. Nick had to be the father theirs never could.

Nick has whole bunch of demons, such a difficult personality. Closed yet he wants to open up, offensive yet a good man with heart of gold. Biig problem with authorities. Type a fighter who cant be finished and doesnt want to go to distance either cause he would fight to death. Loves his brother more than anything still considers as a bit unfair that Nate has everything that he couldnt have and feels probably guilty to feel it. He needs fighting because its the only thing he knows really well but hates it at the same time. I remember this radio interview like 15 years ago where he spoke of the fight he had in the hospital with Joe Riggs. Such an agressive behavior, then you see him in another interview and hes the sweetest man (and both these faces are actually real). Just difficult. Still loveable, most honest, raw man and genius of a fighter.

As someone who battles anxiety and depression, I can relate to wanting to talk to get everything off of your chest because you keep everything inside. Nick and Nate are true examples of warriors who have had to battle hardships starting from a young age. Yes they’re not the most articulate but they’re real and they let their fighting to the talking. I hope they take care of themselves and do get professional help to help them learn to express themselves more clearly. It would be awesome seeing both of them develop their communication skills but either way, the Diaz brothers are legends and so many people adore them!

I think, Ariel has a big respect to Nick Diaz. He knew the interview was gonna be like this because he knows Nick, and just let him do the interview the way he wanted the interview to be conducted. Ariel didn’t interrupt Nick because he understood what he was telling. He was interested, surprised, intrigued for what Nick was saying so he was just paying so much attention that didn’t bother to interrupt. Ariel is a nice human being, I like the way he interviews fighters.

His future was looking solid before the suspension even tho he lost a bunch of matches but the fans loved him and they still love him. I've heard people knock his speech and behaviour saying he has early forms of brain damage and cte because of his fighting style. But I hope not and it's just him hating interviews, he used to get so mad and say how he hates reporters. Lol Hes a legend and puts a pace on these guys like Nate but with more skill lol.
