I really hope younger kids get to grow up with shows like this. Not just the lgbt representation and the (eventual) dealing with mental illnesses, but being shown healthy relationships that grow and change over time. Being shown unhealthy relationships and how to deal with them. Just really nice and unproblematic shows that display good relationships and them building over time.

yess and i wanted to pitch in with my own experience. idk about other households and their behavior, but my parents are homophobic. they don't let us watch any kind of lgbtq+ representation and i myself had to watch this show behind their backs. but i genuinely really do hope younger kids get to grow up with shows!

@@sincerely.studybutterfly POC’s parents tend to be a bit more unaccepting and unyielding about it. I’d like to see an LGBT-led show where this is tackled and how LGBT teenagers should handle these situations. It sucks that it happens but I want them to have the support that my sister and I didn’t get from our parents. We were lucky that we had each other but other kids aren’t as fortunate unfortunately.

I wish this show and High School Musical The Musical The Series was in my life when I was younger. It would’ve helped me come out easier, to be braver, to be more open, to be more myself.

I'm just so happy shows like this exists. Shows that aren't based on a toxic relationship, shows that don't promote cliches like "I'm not gay, I just like you" and things like "wife and husband" or rape scenes where they end up together. Shows that have really teenagers actors and have such a real LGBT representation. Shows like this deserve so much, it's amazing how we got to this point where people are really excited for a series which isn't a straight one, a series which is so relatable, awkwardly adorable and also focuses on other characters others than the main ones. My heart really stopped throughtout the episodes! ❤

@@Logan-dn6uvlike the show shows what it’s like to be gay/lesbian/bisexual/asexual,finding out your sexuality,coming out,in some other shows it would be like “yay I found out I’m gay” and then live happily ever after but in heartstopper they do fight(in the books right now but I’m sure when more seasons come out it will definitely show more cuz they do fight in the books) they show the bad parts and good parts about relationships like! Fighting,toxic relationships,finding your way into a good relationship,trauma,and being “hidden” and or “not out” hope this helps also not trying to speak for them just trying to help sorry if some of it is hard to understand lol❤❤❤

This was the softest & healthy(?) serie I've watched in a while.. That scenes cause butterflies in my stomach. They're so CUTE. .. AND the chemistry of the actors is incredible.. gosh.

This show is so pure and innocent!

i just absolutely love them. they found so much of themselves in each other. you could see the pure love in their eyes as they pined over each other. it took some time to understand each other, but they slowly fell into such a beautiful love that just holds so much comfort, safety, and goodness. how anyone could hate two people falling in love like this is beyond me. these two souls have each other, and that’s so important. these two souls are a little more bright. they bring each other so much happiness and strength and i think that’s pretty important. thank god for alice oseman, for writing such beautiful stories filled with true representation. Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring will inspire so many young kids and make so many people feel less alone in who they are.

I agree with every single thing you wrote, and the way you said it really touched me and made me smile and cry at the same time. ❤️

I love this show for it being so real. These are things real life teenagers struggle with and with giving it representation they learn how it is okay to have problems. And added to that I think this was the first time where a relationship hasn't been potrayed unhealthy or toxic, but rather has been shown as how healthy relationships are supposed to be functioning. The communication, sharing what bothers the other, admitting and explaining your mistakes rather than saying nothing for ages and thus creating lots of misunderstandings. And accepting the battles the other has, helping them if needed but not forcing them to change and win the battles immediately. I really hope they will continue this series as it has so many good aspects and messages in it

Such a good show. It’s so refreshing to watch. I loved Charlie’s older sister. We didn’t get much of her but she was a great character with hilarious one-liners.

Wow, this is amazing - like the way you regrouped the scenes that have the same elements in them - it was nice to see how much they actually interacted through the whole show (: great work! 💕

I think this was the best series I have ever seen these past years… it just shows the “Pure Love“ and no other things between Charlie and Nick… and I love all the characters besides them too! They are just too cute! So I keep on watching them over and over again… Thank you Netflix for giving us probably one the most “Beautiful” series I have ever seen! Can’t wait for the second season!

I am 51 years old, and without any shame I say that this TV show has touched my heart, it is one of the most beautiful and emotional things I have ever seen in my life, and I am not sentimental at all. This video has literally made me cry, and not just the first time, but every time I've seen it. The message of the TV series is powerful and I hope it serves to erase the stigmas of a society that tries to judge others by their sexuality, and who we love.

I really hope this series will have more seasons like the comic, this series is literally one of the best ones I have watched, I feel at home, with the warmth, the love, the genuine, and the butterflies as well. I don't know why, but I feel emotional watching this, probably because of the message and the story, I really loved it, one of my most favored series.

absolutely my comfort show right now. I go back and rewatch different scenes every day. I ordered the books and I REALLY want the coloring book tbh. This show represents and displays the fluidity of sexuality so well. I also just really enjoyed how they depicted the coming out process and figuring out oneself. It's most times a long process. It took me at least ten years to finally come to terms with my sexuality (I'm bisexual). A lot of times, I think people think bisexuals use the word "bisexual" as a way to simplify or as a way to still say that they're "half-straight" and that's just not right at all. This show really validated my feelings and I will always be thankful for it.

the fact that not only are they a queer couple but they're one of the healthiest relationships I've ever seen depicted in media. They communicate and trust each other so much. The way Charlie never pressures Nick to come out and how they make sure it's allowed and ok before kissing one another, the way Nick is so unapologetically proud and supportive of Charlie through everything and constantly wants to be there for him in whatever form that takes, they just love each other so wholeheartedly. It's so healthy, and sweet, and good, and it's everything I as a queer youth have always wanted, so for it to be shown in such a well written show (and comic ofc) that has gotten huge is just incredible.

Honestly I started to translate Harry Potter, which is incredible hard (I am translating 1 section like 45 minutes - and I already know, what´s there), but at the same time, I have say, that it really helps with vocabulary. I am finding easier to remember words.

It's such a heartwarming show. I wish i was charlie, because i met two special boys in my life, who were apparently straight and i fell in love with them. They also liked me more than just a normal friend, but they didn't have the courage to take the "final" step and close to stand by our special connection. Unfortunately real life isn't always a romantic series. But i'm happy for everyone who found love!

I finally watched this series a few months ago and completely fell in love with it. I watched it twice. Charlie and Nick are the best and cutest couple ever. I loved their development so much. There were so many times I couldn't handle seeing them because of their cuteness. They were way too cute. I loved the scenes where they would say hi and they would just smile at each other. Soon after watching the show a second time, I started reading the webtoon and it's just as good. I love how close the show is to the webtoon. It's just perfect. I'm so excited about season 2 and to see the Paris trip. 🤩 It's the best part in the series.
