I reviewed this glastonbury appearance at the time. Every year Nick Cave plays festivals where there are crowds present who are unsure of his work,, they end up open mouthed and almost startled by what they have witnessed! Long live the prince of darkness.

That's what I call passion! Nick Cave's voice here is amazing! The whole band creates a new atmosphere while playing this, watching this you can tell that Nick Cave got a lot of passion for his music and that's really good!

I was right up the front for this. It was incredible. There was a young girl about the same age as me 18/19 to my left. We chatted a bit she had travelled all the way from somewhere in Eastern Europe I think to see him. I think she had pink hair? Anyway..hope you see this! I was in awe of your braveness!

Can't understand how people say metallicas version is awfull, but I guess that's the result of fanboys. Think they're both great. It's a really well composed song! For me, the nick cave version has a lot more frustration within it, while metallica gives me a strong feeling of supressed anger

Pay attention to the lyrics and maybe you'll figure out why Nick sings it the way he does. He's not just singing, he's voice acting. Something that Hetfield will never be able to do. And yes, I am a Metallica fan. And most songs on Garage, Inc. are NOT as good as the originals. Stop being a fan-boy, open your mind to other music styles, and maybe you'll figure it out.
