I'm more of a fan now of Nick Carter's than before, for some of the same reasons mentioned on this thread. He's had a really difficult life, I've learned more about how he has turned that life around and wants to help people to not walk in the same footsteps as him. What a talented, beautiful man he is!

I really don't get the Timberlake hype. He has no emotion at all. Nick sings with soul. And the voice! What a talent Nick is.

Damn Nick! You did that song justice. Straight up! Must be super hard to hit those Steve Perry high notes.

Guys he's not struggling to hit the notes he's just (and always has been) very expressive with his face while singing

I am routing for the guy. His family was beyond messed up and its a terrible thing to loose two siblings and such. But he seems to have turned his life around and he has his talent for sure. This was great!!!!

Without his Backstreet Boys family, I don't think he'll make it. Their bond and love for each other is so deep. I've been watching a lot of their earlier videos, and I discovered many things that I think are the reasons why they are still together for 30 years now.

Nick is so mesmerizing, not just in looks but his powerful voice. His passion shines through in anything that he sings. He leaves me speechless. 😍😍😍

He's not struggling. I got to see NKOTB & BSB live and that's just the way he sings. He sings with emotion and expression, not many singers do that anymore.

This is just fabulous. People don't give him nearly enough credit.

he's not struggling, he has an expressive face when he sings and is very passionate , he's amazing , maybe some on here are a little jelouse I think 😉

Anyyone who disliked this has no idea in hell...this lovely. Especially for just a soundcheck where it's not an official performance and he's just testing the microphone.

This voice means comfort to me. He will always be one of my favorite voices of my lifetime, among others!

Im a HUGE HUGE Journey fan and was always pleased knowing Nick has been one too. Back in the mid 90's when the BSB 1st came onto the scene he would always say that Steve 'The Voice' Perry is his fave singer. Mine too. Im not Nick-girl but that man got some good taste in music.

You can see it is one of his favourite songs....he sings it so passionately and is completely immersed in this song.

Journey is an awesome band. Loved them when i was younger and still love them today. As for nick, i could NEVER quit loving him! LOVE YOU NICK!!

Being a BSB girl since I was 11 (I’m 33 now), I never understood either. I think it was because rnb/rap was much bigger at the time than rock. Nick did rock. Now JT isn’t doing anything and BSB is still going. KTBSPA! Haha.
