I think the reason why Ben blames Nick for “stealing” (Saving,actually) Charlie from him is because during the day when Ben force himself onto Charlie that day,Ben couldn’t even finished his assault on Charlie or whatever he was going to continue to do next was because of Nick grabbing & getting Ben off of him to save Charlie. But instead Ben took that to accuse Nick of stealing Charlie from him because if Ben were to continue without Nick pulling him off,Charlie would feel that he is trapped in the relationship & can’t get out and Ben would have full control on Charlie. Ben might think Charlie really liked him before Nick when really Charlie didn’t like to get mistreated,used & cheated by Ben anymore that he tried to end things with him. When Ben couldn’t let that happen,he tried to assault Charlie for their “relationship” or meet up could continue but when Nick saved Charlie and Nick told him to go that was the END OF BEN KISSING CHARLIE FOR GOOD. Plus Ben wasn’t even with Charlie when Charlie started dating Nick,Charlie first formed a friendship with Nick & that friendship led to a ACTUAL relationship. That’s all that happened. Ben might say he was nice enough not to give Charlie a hickey back then but says the guy who force himself & tried to assault Charlie WITHOUT CHARLIE’S CONSENT and now Ben is trying to scold Nick for giving his sorta-EX & now Nick’s current boyfriend a HICKEY WITH CHARLIE’S CONSENT? Ben might of used Charlie to have control over someone while exploring his sexuality so why not go after a guy who is willing to kiss you because of them being gay? But I think at some point during Charlie & Ben’s meet ups,Ben WAS STARTING TO LIKE CHARLIE even if he won’t admit it & deny his feelings. I mean if Ben didn’t like Charlie why was Ben even there in the parking lot to be a creep & stalk Charlie in order to know if Charlie was taken by Nick? Jealous,I assumed? Ben CAN’T EXPECT FOR CHARLIE TO WAIT FOR HIM. If Ben can’t make a choice,Charlie would move on and Charlie already did. Charlie moved on but Ben SURELY DIDN’T (Despite he had a girlfriend at the side in S1 & dated Imogen in S2) If you look closely & carefully during when Ben sat next to Charlie during dinner before Imogen called Ben out on his obsession with Charlie & broke up with him. You could see how much it parallels & identifies with the scene of a flashback back in S1 when Ben first met Charlie in the music room. Ben sitting next to Charlie,Ben looking at Charlie very smitten,Ben putting on his charm to be nice when he tried talking to Charlie. It’s obvious that Ben is trying to do either the same thing he did when they first met or that Ben is desperately trying to get Charlie back that he STOPS PRETENDING NOT TO KNOW CHARLIE in PUBLIC & in front of people. And if Ben wants Charlie back,he needs to get through his current boyfriend (Nick),Charlie’s friends,Charlie’s parents but MOST IMPORTANTLY Charlie’s PROTECTIVE SISTER TORI. Since Tori can be quite intimidating when it comes to defending her brother (Like make fun of her brother & bully him,Tori is gonna threaten the bullies with their life. It’s either you leave Charlie (Her brother) alone or she’s putting you in a casket,digging your grave & making your funeral arrangements and I bet the cops would never find the bodies which could tell you that Tori can never get caught),Tori is literally the Wednesday Addams of Heartstopper (But without braids it’s her diet lemonade that is her signature look). And if Tori would know what Ben did to her brother,he’s a goner once Tori is done with him. And I’m pretty sure Tori would rather have Nick date her brother than Ben have (Who was not only a bully but a abuser to her brother). Loved how Nick looked concern & worried for his boyfriend when Ben sat next to him. Nick is obviously the better boyfriend to Charlie.

And if Ben wants Charlie back,he needs to go through Charlie’s sister first to see if Tori would let him date her brother because if Tori would know that he was the one who made her brother’s life a living hell while also using him. Not only is Tori not letting him date her brother but also she might do the unthinkable to any extent to make sure Ben stays away from her brother because no one comes in between her & her family. Threaten or make fun of Charlie and Tori will literally threaten them with their life,so leave her brother alone or she’s making your funeral arrangements and I bet she won’t even get caught & the bodies would never be found One thing to go after a gay boy but it’s also another thing to come between a gay boy & a VERY PROTECTIVE SISTER (Tori is like Wednesday Addams of Heartstopper).

you are right about the stealing and his assault on charlie. Ben is a narcissist. He blames other people for his actions. Ben lost charlie because of his own actions. No one elses. Not because Nick stole him

The fact Ben thinks he can even get Charlie back makes him crazy & delusional. Because Ben literally stalked,cheated,attempted assault,harassed & mental abuse Charlie so bad in S1 despite the fact that Ben still liked Charlie then. Why on earth would Charlie go back to his abuser (Who is also a creep)? And plus Charlie already has a great boyfriend since Nick already has his heart. I find it ridiculous that Ben NOW WANTS TO BE CHARLIE’S BOYFRIEND when during the library flashback in S1 back when Ben & Charlie was still together BEN SPECIFICALLY SAID THAT THEY WEREN’T. Wasn’t Charlie’s fault that he thought that since Ben been putting his lips & tongue down his throat & mouth whenever they meet up. Ben might want Charlie back but the real question is does Charlie want Ben back? (Obviously not) It’s not up to Ben to choose when he wants to take Charlie back since Charlie is A PERSON WHO IS CAPABLE OF MAKING HIS OWN DECISIONS SUCH AS CHOOSING WHO HE DATES. I wonder how creepy can Ben be?

Get you a person/be the person like nick defend your partner but don’t overstep by being aggressive
