I love how his drummer and pedal steel guitar player are older gentlemen. This is how I vision my country band; about 6 musicians aged anywhere between 25 to 75; however, it is really really hard to find that and remain consistent!

I live the solo material has a real vintage sound to it! Love nick 13 huge tiger army fan

I agree this song sounds like a mash up of Johnny Cash and Mike Ness. That whole record to phenomenal. Nighttime Sky is my favorite though.

When I go on road trips I blast this album.. fucken Love it...!!!

Cheetah Thunders. - So true. Yet comparing this band to SD would be futile. Simply because SD, in my humble opinion is one of the best live bands EVER !!! Third only to The Ramones & Motörhead (w/Lemmy/Filthy Phil/Fast Eddie).

Yeah SD is one of my top bands as well (also Ramones and Motorhead). But I actually discovered Nick 13, his band Tiger Army 13 actually, when I saw them open for SD, and it was one of the few times I became an instant fan of a band as soon as I saw them. Another time was seeing Flogging Molly on a side stage of a festival, I bring it up b/c the singer was once in a band with Fast Eddie.

fucking haters,just appreciate a good song.every song that comes out these days sounds like another song.social d is great and i'm sure he wasn't trying to rip them off,but this song is killer too.i like it,it's the best country cd to come out in years....

Well....only during the verse, the chorus is completely different....and if you want to really get technical there are probably a bazillion & one other songs with the same chords, in the same progression, but with different vocal melodies.
