Ein wunderschönes und gleichzeitig auch trauriges Lied.

Ein sehr schönes, berührendes Lied. Heute zum Volkstrauertag kann ich auch Allen das Deutsche Requiem von Brahms empfehlen. Ein düsteres, aber ergreifendes Werk, um der vielen Kriegsopfer zu gedenken.

Da kriegt man eine Gänsehaut. Auf ewig unbesiegt, bleibt das deutsche Vaterland

Es wird der feindlichen Regierung nicht gelingen, DEUTSCHLAND zu vernichten. Das lässt GOTT nicht zu. Sie wissen es noch nicht, aber sie haben bereits verloren, auch wenn ihre Leute, wie Weidel, noch so mit Täuschung und Lügen kämpfen, es wird ihnen nicht gelingen. This is really interesting. I never heard of Bröger, so I looked him up in wiki. To anyone who might jump to the conclusion that this hymn was "right wing" ... think again, Bröger was a social democrat. He just also happened to be patriotic, "Characteristic of his works of the 1920s are his commitment to Germany, the German land and the German people."

Deutschland wurde nicht allein von verschiedenen germanischen Stämmen gebildet und geschaffen, sondern auch von keltischen, römischen, baltischen und sehr vielen slawischen Bevölkerungsgruppen, die im deutschen Volkskörper aufgingen.

@recovery account Well, being born in late 2001 I haven't really had any influence in the redaction of the Treaty of Versailles as far as I know, but I will make sure to have a talk with Clémenceau and the redactors once I'll leave this disgusting world, soon enough I hope.

@recovery account Merging multiple countries into one, will never necessarily make them more united. Worse, it can divide them even more. Belgium can be an example with the Flemish and Wallonian communities which don't always get along very well (soft example). Or even ex-countries which were part of Yougoslavia. They used to be united under one country, this didn't prevent their society to get fragmented until an ultimate breaking point. There are multiple factors such as culture, religion, language, History and so on that can make things complicated. I sincerely believe bringing back an Empire and merging countries right now won't make the situation better. Who truly knows if such a change would be globally accepted by the population.

Hi Everyone, dear friends! I'm from Russia if it matters. All the German patriotic songs deliver me a huge pleasure. And I don't know even why exactly. Being Russian but hearing german songs like this I just get goosebumps covering me completely. Especially hearing calls to struggle for your world, for your dear home and calls to build new world, new home out of ruins. Weird, I'm Russian but I do care about Germany, and my heart feels pain for German people who value their traditions and who stand for their traditional values that have been handed down from generation to generation. According to information I know now Germany is full of refugees who does not respect German cultuire and traditions. Those people don't work but get their pays and perks which results in big expеnces the state finances. Besides, let me repeat "according to information I have" - now in Germany a new (maybe not a new one) movement has gained a big populatity. The movenent protecting people of non-traditional sexual orientation or people who change their gender. Awful, in my opinoion. And as I'm informed propaganda of such relationships of men and women (gays, lesbians and so on) does great (and there are lots of banners with It everywhere). And you would better be a gay or a lesbian so the society will approve you - bullshit... And who does not want to participate and stand for it - everyone concerned put down the people who is not for protection rights of people of non-traditional orientation. Talking about changing gender - let me not discuss if. I think it is awful. Talking abot the rights, rights of all the people all over the world must be protected and guaranteed, there must be no any divisions or exceptions at all. And let me notice - I'm not against gays or lesbians or trans. But meanwhile I'm not approving them. They chose their lives. But they have not the right to bother other people who have different opinions. I should probably stop talking about it... I strongly believe there are lots of people in Germany who share my view. But according to the Russian news on the TV it's not like that. But I don't trust. German people, good-hearted and industrious Germans who value old German and European traditions (self-development, education, male-female love and marriage, children who are the future) will save Germany and the country I love so much for its culture and history will flourish even more bright than ever bevore and the people will be happier than ever. German people, and people who share my views or not please read it and express your opinion on the issue I described above. German people, I truly respect you, your country, your history your patience your willingness to struggle, your industriousness! Now is the new time and the new world! We will win no doubt. I wish I could have a conversation with you, my friends and know about your thoughts and feelings about the original situation in your country. Because I don't know the truth but I want to. Please, tell me in some words: what is gouing on in Germany? Are you satisfied with it? Sorry for such a storm of my thoughts, my friends, maybe I didn't say something important I wanted to😄 Lots of greetings and handshakes from Russia to Germany, I believe we and our counties can be good friends, nationality is not a borderline, only brains, thoughts and personality do matter! @recovery account those who do not live it, can not see what actually is occurring. Unfortunately in one short KZread comment I could NEVER explain to you what actually is happening to Amercia. I will say you have it totally wrong though, that part about ripping down the statues, you are very off. And again I'd have to explain face to face it so deep over here. Believe me I know, I'm living it. I can't say what it is for your country, but I've ALWAYS enjoyed it's history so I'll have to look it up, what you're talking about. Again, I'm sad that you guys took down a lot of your military statues saying they are nazi, I'm sure some of them are however probably not all so j wish you guys would have kept them up, along with the iron cross, German eagle 🦅 , old German flag etc. All that's gone under the name of being nazi. Well those things date back a lot farther than that era so I'm disappointed in all that. I hope someday they become apart of your culture again.

@Martin Michel really? So the red, gold, black flag is older than the red, black white flag? That's amazing because I've only heard different. Actually I'll I've read was that the Germans preferred the red, blk, white and did not like the gold, blk, red one from the Weimer Republic. Very interesting, I wonder what else I've heard is wrong. Hey, so did you get taught English in school or self study? We're told that Europe forces learning English?? And do you guys use the Panzerlied? I've been told it's banned cause it's Nazi, but I don't agree with that. Sorry for all the questions but I love Deutschland and I've always been interested in it, however it's really hard to study it's history because you never know if are stuff is accurate.
