In Sweden, all kids used to have music lessons once a week at school (free of charge) to learn how to play an instrument and even borrow it for free or practise at school if it was a large instrument. Everyone started with learning notes and playing a recorder (a small flute) at the age of 9, then moved on with an instrument of choice at the age of 10. Then during the teenage years some kids formed bands and could practise and play using the instruments available at school. This could be one reason why there are so many Swedes in the music industry. 🎵🎶

I am 52 and I learned notes and the fluet at school in 3th and 4th grade. It was a real lesson. But sadly it changed during the last 40 years. I think sometimes music is a skill you need. Playing an instrument can help at so many occasions even mental health. I learned playing violin for 6 years in my spare time at a specific music school. When I turned 40 I bought a piano and have lessons and when I turned 50 I learned the guitar. As a teenager I played the trumpet. We can learn it at my church. Sadly today the children haven't tis opportunities

Music is so integral to learning, and it’s really a shame that it’s not in the basic elementary or secondary school curricula in most countries. Therefore, it’s usually an afterschool activity..

@@luzvaldes1030 True! I am a graduate in Classical Flute in France and it is really and extracurricular activity that my parents have to invest a large number of money and time so that I could become a musician.

They portrayed the roles so well from the book. They had a lot of chemistry. They were hot. It’s a sad story as well. But the ending is a happy ending as opposed to the book’s ending. Nickolas G is an amazing actor. I’ve seen most of his films. He is versatile. Luv him.👏🏽🔥🙌🏽🫠🤟🏽❤️

Watched it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was brilliant- it's actually the reason I decided to give The Idea of You a whirl, along with Anne Hathaway being in it of course. It was clear to see how talented he was then, musically, as well as acting, so I was interested to see his growth in another music focused film. Also pleasantly surprising to see how he's blossomed!

he's a very talented artist and looks like a kind guy.

LOVE the movie, believable acting by all! Nicholas is awesome as an Actor but better yet you can tell he's a down to earth, genuine person. I hope he never loses that!! I"ve always loved Anne! I'm actually going to go watch it again! Well done!

He’s an actor, it’s a job.

I love him as an actor but I think the chemistry between his other costars is much better, especially Taylor. But it is a wonderful movie, so much better than the book.
