Agreed. I have Aspergers and am usually angry at the world. I don't experience many feelings outside of frustration. This song made me cry and I cannot tell what emotion I am feeling -- maybe all of them.

I really felt like the main character while listening to this, going into my backyard.. and looking up at a beautiful clear night sky full or stars. I nearly cried from how beautiful it was... and the weather was fairly nice. I had swan slippers on, a blanket, and my puppy in my arms as I sat on the ground and just listened to this song with headphones in, while looking up at the sky. It was truly mesmerizing...

I just had a new born baby. She is 4 months old as of yesterday. These were some tough weeks, but also my happiest. While listening to this music, I told my daughter that I don’t know how to explain this feeling, but the love I have for you is overflowing. My love for you is unconditional and I will always love you no matter what. This music translate my love for her and I can’t control tearing up in joy. It’s like the piano is witnessing the first horn as it’s being born, and that horn is just beginning to discover it can make beautiful sounds. And this brand new horn feels so delighted at this discovery, it starts enthusiastically, joyfully dancing a melody. And then it finds other instruments and they’re excitedly reaching out and connecting with each other, and they’re so giddy they almost sound like they're making themselves dizzy. Then they mature and start working together in harmony, and working with the piano who has been anticipating their next discovery - the same burden with which he was already all too familiar. The piano is weary from the burden but provides guidance for the instruments that are just now recognizing it themselves. They’re not as carefree; they’ve realized the world they’re in has sadness and darkness too. The strings are so overwhelmed, they begin to tremble. But they all hold onto each other and forge ahead, creating sounds that are still beautiful, but are now filled with bittersweet understanding and yearning. And hope. I love the way instruments, especially in jazz & classical music (well maybe in instrumental music in general), seem to speak. Sometimes it sounds like they’re speaking to each other, and sometimes it sounds like they’e trying to tell us something. Sorry I do not know how to identify most of the instruments so I don’t know what to call them. This song never fails to move me. I should probably watch the film asap.

This is one of the most beautiful songs that I have ever heard. It makes me feel a mix of wonderment towards life but also because of that, it gives me a heavy feeling that I've been wasting mine these past several years. I am an engineering senior in college and since entering I have become depressed, highly stressed, and socially anxious. I've nearly shut myself off from the rest of the world. I know that I still have time to turn things around but it makes me yearn for the time that I've lost. I could have done so much more, been so much more but that time is gone now. I can't change the choices that I've made but I can change those that I've yet to make. This song makes me want to be better and work on the things about myself that I've hated for so long. Thank you Nicholas Britell for creating this song that led me to these emotions.

My sister-in-law passed away recently after a long battle with cancer. She was a dance teacher and I can just imagine what she would've done with this piece. Absolutely beautiful.

The sound is play a trigger of play backs of memories that u love and hate. It feels like acknowledge those memories and accept them.

Yesterday I just had to put down my 13 year old dog. 2 days before she was laying in the grass on a bright warm breezy day smelling the air as she always has. Just enjoying life in all of its little moments. And I'm just so grateful I had such a wonderful love and a best friend since I was 9. I love you puppy and thank you for loving me and our family. You're the best little girl I could have ever prayed for. Rest in peace sweetheart. Until I see you and daddy again ❤

Idk why this hits me right in the feels, the wanting to be a kid again, for some reason cartoons like hey Arnold and other cartoons on cartoons network pop into head.

I hear this song & think of overcoming sadness, doubt, depression, uncertainty, pain, sorrow... & just knowing that everything will be okay 😭

Life brings you to your knees. It brings you lower than you think you can go. But if you stand back up and move forward, if you just go a little farther, you will always find love. Sometimes life can flutter. Sometimes it can glow a bright light and then it dosnt ever return as bright and despair can set in at these times unfortunately. I hope there’s more bright light experiences to come. Something that no 9-5 could allow you to buy, something that just falls into your lap unexpectedly and I hope i remember to savor the flavor of the new time around.

This song feels like the first day/month/year after you lived through the possibly the worst time in human history.
