@Harder Daddy No Danganronpa is life, but the universe is pretty hard on the characters.

Most amvs of this just line up one injury with a beat and no editing, but you clearly put so much timing into this to make sure that one scene lines up perfectly with all the beats, even if there’s one injury. All of the timings and syncing works really well, and each scene works with the instruments/mood of the one moment, it’s not just random injuries or impacts.

I feel like every second here must have taken an hour to get the exact timing of things to line up with the beat. Favorite part 1:32 - 1:44. Mio throws everyone into the cymbal. I really want the throw at 1:58 to be timed with the drop/crescendo cymbal at 1:59.

The editor can copy lip movements from other times and paste them into the relevent sequences in whatever editing program they use. Sometimes they might also use an image program to capture the outline of whatever it is they want moving and take a few frames from that and paste it into a different sequence. For instance maybe someone doing a walk cycle in a seperate sequence, you'll see it in some meme videos where people use the outline and replace the face with that of whatever character they want dancing/moving in it. The tricky part is syncing it right so the sound comes out at the same time as the lips are flapping, people will automatically assume it works more or less correctly even if the sync is a little out though so you have some freedom with minor mistakes. There's usually a split second pause between lip movement then the sound coming out from normal speech as well. Mostly down to spending a lot of time replaying the same parts of the video over and over and fixing what seems out of place. The real genius is syncing the entire video to the dramatic music, having the physical actions occur exactly on the mark is incredibly time consuming and using the right clips is always a nightmare. This is a very good piece of work.

Bekk you cant do the panning they do here in movie makers. What they most likely used is either Sony Vegas (any) or Adobe After effects. Both are to me on the same level, I believe After Effects is more complicated though

Hiren Bip Yes, but my advice was to a beginner. When it comes to amvs or any type of editing you have to start small or else you'll just get overwhelmed. First it's better to learn how to pace a video and make cuts, etc. Also, After Effects and Sony Vegas are two completely different types of software. After Effects is for special effects, not editing an entire movie (or amv). I think you mean Adobe Premiere Pro. In which case I agree.

waifu wafer just imagine a live action movie

I was watching a lot of "Hard Knock Life" videos and this appeared, and I immediately planned on making fun of it. After watching it, I realized that a lot of effort was put into the video. I learned that, just because I personally don't like something, doesn't mean it is cringy or bad. This video was edited very professionally, and that is a good way to judge the video, by its editing, not its character. Thanks for indirectly teaching me a lesson.

Nichijou is a proof that kiyoto animation puts in their best to whatever comes in their way

I keep coming back to this one. It's honestly so great. It's super high quality and i'm always glad that i found this a couple days ago.

Because this is an example of an AMV done well. The creator not only used a fitting song, but they worked hard to time the scenes with the song instead of just playing random scenes with music playing in the background.
