It's well organized but at the end of the day there will be massive settlement in the are and all the work will be a useless effort

I hope the "project" planned for this will be parkland with rolling hills and boulder formations. Cause once it's settled and dirt washes into the voids between the boulder fill that's what it will look like. I suspect this is one of the ways "sinkholes" are born for future generations to deal with.

They are pushing the flood plain onto someone else's land as they create an massive storm surge downstream once that wetland it filled and incised. This is a civil engineer's worst nightmare.

This is a disaster waiting to happen when the cheap concrete apartments are built with the same disregard for engineering principles. They just bury plants and trees under the rubble? Even if you're not building large structures, this ground will be so uneven.

This is a disaster waiting to happen. These small levies or streams are tbe safety valve to prevent flooding. Once tbe heavy rain starts it will build up under the loose fill and once it starts moving, which no doubt it will. It will take all before it.. I am completely baffled that they are allowed to do that .crazy.😢

@2centsam927 If there is to be structures built on the land, they will have pylon foundations sunk through the fill so there will be a solid foundation

you would think theyed sendsome in with chainsaw and drop the trees

Why don’t they rent or get a cat D 9 or D 10 to spread the dumped fill so the dozer doesn’t have to struggle to spread the fill material ! They could bring in more trucks to speed up the process
