Great video. Well filmed and edited for sequencing of the job. I've been eyeing this raised filler cap for quite some time now - for my 2011 model I had from 2014-2017 and then my latest one which is a 2017 model that I've had since last year and have done several functional mods. This filler cap is one of my last outstanding mods, together with a steering damper, RG tower/screen and the AS luggage frames.

It’s fine. No colour fade yet, but the bike’s not left outside and it’s not like we’ve had a lot of UV this winter! The colour match isn’t perfect but to be fair it’s anodised so it’s not really fair to compare it to the powder coated frame. If I could buy this product (and the foot pegs) again, I’d probably go with black, especially as I’ve also gone with the black @adventure spec side luggage carriers…

installed CNC filler cap this weekend. Cable mod worked a treat, much easier solution for seat release. My only issue was the rear plastic which sits over the filler cap. This needs to slide on from rear of bike to locate in the slots of the rear side panels - this is not possible when the raised filler cap is installed. I had to remove the left rear side panel to give me space to fit the vent hose and install the filler cap with the rear panel in place. If I want to remove the rear panel in future (e.g to fit tail tidy) I will need to remove the filler cap. Anyone else with this experience?

Just wondering how the Nicecnc fuel cap is holding up and if there any color fade...thanks
