I feel for him. Had it happen to me at practice but it popped back in. Didn't hurt going out or back in but couldn't put weight on it or it hurt like a bitch. Swelled to a fucking balloon too.

He knows and accept the role he plays, I hate him but I understand the value of his strategy, especially from my time on the ice where I sort of was the teams enforcer, which was weird because I hated fights. There are videos of his mother at the game and she's mic-ed up, screaming at him to behave. it's hilarious.

@@JesusFriedChrist Soccer refs aren't that bad, but they probably have the toughest job among the biggest sports, because it's the most free-flowing game. In baseball, it's very simple: ball or strike, safe or out, in soccer it's wishy-washy, because contact is allowed, too much contact isn't. Between all that, soccer refs will run about 10k per game.

I’m an avid watcher of every major sport in North America with the exception of soccer. The NHL by far has the best referees, especially compared to basketball & football, who are absolutely pathetic. Umpires in baseball just need to go at this point tho, the unions ruin the sport so much since you can’t rid the league of the problem refs

The Sharks and Blues WCF no call on the hand pass last year had me pretty pissed at the refs. Other than that pretty honest mistakes they are human too.

At first I thought a guy was actually trying to use the "he's my buddy" excuse but then saw it was Yandle and just knew how much sarcasm was put into that

LISTEN TO ME! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT! Such a dad. I love this.

I love being a ref. Quite stressful sometimes, but it is definitely one of the best jobs in the world! More of this 😍

@@WieselAlbert- yes, it is quite funny about that... the higher up in the grades that you go, the easier it is to umpire the game. You do get the occasional player that wants to make a mountain from a molehill, but, if you have a reputation as a fair umpire, the players generally respect the decision and move on with the game.

Keith is an absolute beauty

I think this is why I love hockey despite living in a non-hockey country + it’s a tropical one. It’s one of the last sports that still have its soul and chill. Like things like these you can’t find it in other sports

@@Aryon1969 it is funny that you say that. Years (35+) ago, was umpiring at a national carnival that was being recorded for later viewing. The chair umpire made a call, which the spectators were shaking their heads on. About 5 seconds later the spectators started clapping... umpire had made the right call - by about 2.5 cm, at speed!

I love how much the refs are chirping at the lines. Cracking me up, it's like watching Shoresy in the NHL.
