Update: Apparently that is not an authentic and I know even less than I thought I did, so basically this video is entirely useless for the most part, sorry. Not sure if I should delete this video or not.... Original pin: Even after doing this video, I still went back to the jerseys and found more differences in the neck, sides, shoulders and bottom. Needless to say I could do an entire second part to this video, so clearly there are some things missing from this one. Regardless, I hope it helps a little bit!

No worries. The edge 2.0 7287 are the true authentic jerseys made in Canada. The indo edge jerseys were a nice middle ground between them and the replicas.

Most people get the gist of it. I even say authentic on the Indo-Edge ones and the MIC I say team issued. One guy called me out on some of my terminology and he was being a total ass about it. 🙄 Other than that, you’re totally fine Neil!

Technically it would be an authentic (given the fight strap) but Reebok released 4 different tries. Premier, Indo-Edge, Made in Canada Authentic, and Team Issued. The MiC and Team Issued are essentially the same material wise, only change being the reinforced fight strap on the team issued and the lack of collar Reebok tagging. This is a great video showing the differences between indo and premiers

I mean technically you aren't wrong. The Indo-Edge's are still considered to be authentics, but to me they are kinda just a middle ground in-between authentic and replicas. To me at least they are pretty comparable to the Adidas jersey currently. Although I would love to see you get an edge 1.0 or 2.0, those are both fantastic jerseys and you can really tell the difference between them and even the Indo-Edges.

Neil, I assure you that this video is NOT useless! It is a much needed distraction right now. Yesterday my wife and two little girls left Wyoming in a loaded car to drive over 800 miles to visit my sister and her family for the week. Due to weather we are stuck at a hotel in western Nebraska and I have no clue as to when we will be able to get out. Trying my best to stay calm, so I am sitting here watching this “useless” video. ❤️

This is not an authentic, this is an indo-edge. Authentic are edge 1.0s and 2.0s. The TI ones are the most authentic.

Dude Neil! These are real sick ass, high quality photography skills you got. You can totally outshine any of the stock photos from any of the jersey retail companies!!! Keep up the greatness!

There are actually 3 different tiers with jerseys. 1) Fan replica - Reebok Premier, Fanatics Breakaway. Super lightweight material, no fight strap, not cut the same. No stitched on crests (except for the 2016-2017 Premiers which were stitched, as are the Winter Classics and other specialty jerseys). 2) Retail Authentic - Indo-Edge, Adidas Adi-zero. These are Indonesian made and are basically a replica authentic. Reebok's were made out of heavier material than the Premier, Adidas are significantly lighter than actual on ice jerseys. Reebok Indo-Edges are closer to on ice jerseys than Adidas are, but these are still lighter. 3) Made In Canada Authentic. Edge 2.0, Adidas Adizero MiC. Team issued, on ice jerseys. These are the actual jerseys players wear, and once you get one of these you'll never buy a retail authentic again. The differences are night and day. Smallest sizes available in these start at a 54 i believe.

For the same reason, I collect game worns... Adidas authentics made in indonesia are made of completely different fabric from the in-game jerseys which are made in canada. Great comparison and observations. It's interesting that not only the fabric and stitching are different but also the cut. Mind blown

If you ever get the chance to get an authentic adidas jersey I’d highly recommend it. Usually after the nhl season is over meigray has a summer sale where you can get some as cheap as 200 bucks. Still a lot of dough but the jerseys are so cool it’s worth it!

Can confirm that there is a difference in the crest. It’s the same way for my Reeboks.

in my experience reebok replicas are very good quality compared to adidas fanatic bs. reebok replicas are worth buying if you are on a budget

Anyone else get a replica from their cool hockey mystery box? It was to my understanding all of them would be authentics but I received a Blackhawks stadium series replica. They mentioned everything to be 100$-400$ value but these only go for around 40-50$ on eBay and other sites so that’s somewhat of a bummer.
