Bouchard was on fire this game. He was like a completely different player. Hope he continues to pull moves as smooth as he did tonight.
That oilers dad holding his kid up was so wholesome

For real. Having done that before, I'm sure he was enjoying it a little more than the kid
Bouchard was so patient with those shots! Awesome skill.
I hate how Sportsnet doesn't show relevant penalties.. Draisaitl got hooked on a breakaway in overtime which prompted the penalty call in OT, then the oilers scored on the ensuing faceoff. Instead they show random filler for 2 mins from the first period though!

Both goalies got blitzed in the second. It was a tight game between 2 good teams
That last one was definitely a set play. McDavid up high as a decoy cuz they know they don’t want him getting the puck, let the Bouch Bomb go when he’s hot. The reaction by McDavid and Draisatl was cheekiness, knowing their plan worked
I liked how the play-by-play announcer sounded equally enthusiastic about both teams. He focused on the drama of tied games and momentum shifts rather than obviously pulling for one team. I wish all announcers did that!

Big win for the Oil, since Dallas is one of those teams that are kryptonite to the Oilers, especially on Dallas' turf. Just like Minnesota.
@TH-tl6sy

Dallas hasn't been Kryptonite For the oilers in a very long time. 20 years. Since 2017 Oilers and Stars are split. 10-10 heck even 2009 and 2010 they split the season series 2-2, 2-2. 90s to 2003 Oilers got slapped around every playoff by Dallas. Perennial 8th seed vs 1st seed in the west. Even 2004 they split the season series 2-2.

Bold move playing back up against the highest scoring team in the league, but Oilers had to see what they've got in Calvin Pickard if needed in the playoffs. And he held them in it. His .889 wasn't stellar, but better than Oettingers .833 and that's all that matters.

Go Edmonton Go!!! from an ex-Cannots fan
Picker just keeps pick'in and Corey Perry looks to be living up to the big hype... I love the low risk signing but I have to admit that I was a little skeptical of the most over-hype dreams - the dude is fitting right in. You can be sure the brain trust is going to keep looking at Pickard right up to the deadline (4 more starts?), and don't forget, Campbell has no cap hit when he comes back during the playoffs and the way he's playing right now that could be a big dang deal before the boys are home for X-mas dinner
Connor brown was out for 3 goals(2 of them could’ve been avoided if he picked up his guy) wtf is he doing on the ice for us?

It's getting pretty OBVIOUS that mcdavids life is controlled by the elite that run the world. He is passing when he won the shooting competition. Passing when he has the better view of the net, not just passing to help teammates. He is passing to help vegas and it's disgusting. Fans should be doing something about this if you are paying that much to see them play.
it needs to be said. Why is Connor so snake bitten or gun shy about scoring goals this year? I know, overall, he’s shooting less but c’mon, he’d have my vote for “Player Most Likely to pull a Patrik Stefan” empty netter this season. 🏆

How was that a horrible call? Draisaitl got blatantly hooked from behind in the hands and completely robbed of a breakaway chance from someone that was WAY behind him.
