Sensational win!! The best win of the season so far! Not only was it a 7-1 demolition, the team that they beat are at the top of the division! Now making the playoffs is a looking like a real solid chance

Love Shorthouse’s call on Horvatt’s goal: “captain my captain” Deja vu to Trevor Linden in ‘94 and Kirk McLean in net. Wild retro game for the Canucks and Shorty/ Cheech are the BEST hockey announcers anywhere.

This was so good, I had to watch it again. Haven't seen the Canucks lay a beating like this on a supposedly better team since they put 9 past the Bruins in 2020. Have a good road trip guys.

Oilers fan here. Makes me happy to see the Canucks believe and trust in their talent. The guys and the fans really needed it and I loved seeing how passionate the fans got. The flames have been on a whole new level lately, and maybe they were due for a loss, but man, as an oiler fan that was a sweet whooping of the flames to witness, and like your goal says, I won't forget about this one. 👍🏻🤙🏻

The scene of the Gaudreau jersey wearin' fan sadly walking out after goal 7 was delicious schadenfreude.

The Canucks were possessed by spirit the 1993/94 team, "The Spirit of Captain Kirk compels you, the Spirit of Linden compels you, the spirit of Bure compels you..." and so on down the roster.

Defence spirits too, remember the Canucks defence in the early 90s? They were a formidable blueline in any combo, Ronnie Stern who was traded to Calgary for Dana Murzyn, "Beef" Jyrki Lumme, Dave Babych, Robert Dirk, Gerald Diduck, Jeff Brown, Bret Hedican...this game took me back.

I was just at this game, absolutely amazing 2nd and 3rd periods, the atmosphere was spectacular. BRUCE THERE IT IS!!

As a Canuck fan, this win makes me so happy. If there is 1 team I hate seeing the Canucks lose to, out is the Flames. And yes, make the Canucks Skate Jersey the main jersey. Just keep the Orca jersey as the 3rd jersey....
