Great win. What bad luck for Sorokin! Ovechkin moving ever more like an old man. Just a token presence on the ice.
I swear that Caps goal at the end had help from the Hockey Gods! The puck looked to have just magically hopped over Sorokin stick!

The Line Of Pageau, Gauthier & Holstrom looks Very Solid. I'd keep them together, if I were Lane Lambert. They've got so much Chemistry in This Game. My Rangers better hope that Julien Gauthier doesn't bite his former team in The You Know What (Marian Gaborik in 2014 Stanley Cup - Scoring for The LA Kings against The Rangers - his former team).

@@MrManfly Yeah. I completely agree. I said the same thing, in that Sorokin blew his own Shutout, in not simply covering up the puck.

На состав посмотрите. Из этого состава при закончившем Бэкстреме, травмированном Оши, потухшем Кузнецове и сдавшем Овечкине, дырявом Кемпере, тренер держит команду в зоне плей-офф. Как раз тренер свою работу хорошо делает, в отличие от звезд, которые занимают всю платежку, но ни игру не показывают, ни результата не дают!

Watching Washington's game is not easy( The team is not fighting with the opponent, but with itself: some inexplicable losses, poor puck movement... Oshie, somehow unnoticeably for me, is out of the game again (what week is it already?!)... Ovechkin has to press and rebound the puck - this fully characterizes the quality of team play....

The Caps outplayed the Isles in the first game but lost. They were outplayed in the second game and won. Tonight the best team on the ice won. But the Isles are winning despite their coach and not because of it, contrary to the Flyers and Rangers. Those two teams have excellent coaches.

Ok, I'll say this again for those at the back (who weren't listening last time)... Ovi is NOT going past 99, just get over it. By his incredible standard he's playing poorly, he's passing not shooting, he doesn't look dangerous in the least... and he's playing for a nothing team. Best thing the Caps can do is stop over achieving and tank it for a couple of season, pick well and re-build.

в обзорах показываются, прежде всего, атакующие действия команд... А Овечкин отбором и прессингом в чужой зоне занимается... Он даже не в атаку ходит( , поэтому ожидать от него результативных действий в такой ситуации - маловероятно. Раньше можно было пошутить про рождественский загул, а сейчас задумываешься именно об обменах, которые должны как-то встряхнуть ситуацию...
