Caufield finished the match with 6 shots on goal. No goals, but still got 2 assists. Good game from him. The team had a slight advantage in shots and scoring chances at 5 v 5 tonight. Thursday against the Canes at PNC Arena.

i thought it was contested pretty evenly throughout. couple good breaks from the habs, probably was the difference in the hockey game. the dissalowed goal, and the hail mary from Savard lol. a rare sight, especially when it involves the Canadiens lol

David Savard banked it off the boards and the puck went straight into the net. That kind of reminds me of NHL Hockey in the 1980's.

I have seen lots of habs teams but this team is fun to see i have not been so happy to see them play in a long time go HABS 😊

That second goal was some bad juju. There is no one on this planet that is going to convince me Savard planned for that to happen. The luckiest of all lucky bounces or the unluckieat of all unlucky bounces.

I felt bad for Saros after the 2nd Habs goal. That bounce has to be like one in a thousand

8 game win streak was bound to end and we still got a point out of this. That second goal by the Habs was some kind of voodoo luck nobody saw coming. Refs were bad on both sides ngl. I’m just hoping the Preds don’t resort to their losing ways again and that they can learn from this loss. This wasn’t the Preds best game recently and I could tell I guess I got my hopes up when it was 2-0 in the second though.

Another good road game by the Canadiens! A bit lucky on that 2nd goal, but that's how the puck bounces at times! 👍 Really happy to see Gallagher get his 10th goal and Roy his 2nd but that goal by Suzuki was a super goal to notch his 25th and win the game! my opinion 🦂

What a perfect empty net goal by Savard, he had the Predators goalie fooled, by making him think he was just going to dump the puck in....... lol.

It was goalie interference not high stick. He interfered with Allen when he was trying to catch the puck.

when there is a penelty during 3 on 3 the powerplay gets a forth player. when the penalized player comes back, that makes 4 on 4 until the next whistle.

@@mindest2237 well duh, it's the nashville broadcast, obviously they're going to be happier when the team they're supposed to root for scores. have you ever heard joe bowen? jack edwards? drew remenda? every team has a homer broadcaster. nashville's commentators are significantly less biased than the majority of other broadcasters out there, but habs fans just love to endlessly complain that everyone is out to get them.

Is it a crime in Montreal for a a defence man to take the player instead of the puck, or maybe go to the corners first to retrieve a puck. Losing Monaghan was stupid. Time to keep the good players and stop saying we are rebuilding.

Slafs effort on that 2nd goal from Nashville was horrible. Even if you’re exhausted if you come down that low, you gotta commit and take that guy and get all over his stick. That was hard to watch.

He also skated hard and used his unreal reach to knock a puck off a stick that was in the clear. Ether way, sure, he blew this particular play - to a degree. And he wound up with his stick to smash it in disgust fight after. But truthfully, not one D anywhere near the guy too. Slaf has been excellent defensively this year in general.

The sad truth is that Nashville's commentators are some of the LEAST biased of the US commentators in the NHL.

Suzuki and Caulfield are really playing a man short with the 6-3, 230lb paperweight on their line. I am convinced he doesn't know how to play the sport; he's constantly out of position. In his own end he floats around with one hand on hIs stick doing NOTHING. He can't carry the puck, beat someone one on one, make plays and he is soft. He plays on the perimeter. In the last 5 games he is -4 with 1pt. It was a fluke goal that bounced off the opposition. He is painful to watch.

Habs win a game and everyone acts like they won the cup. lol
