thats awesome! I'm a Leafs fan in Mexico watching some late games this week too.

throwing punches before the opposing player can shake their mitts off is crazyyy, you can tell the oilers were frustrated by that one moment alone.

He should have gotten 17 minutes in penalties. 2 min instigator, 5 min fighting and 10 min misconduct. That's the way the rules are written anyway. Instead they just gave him 5 for fighting and 2 for roughing.

Kane in OT was such a bad decision by Knoblauch when you could've put Foegele who was having a wonderful game, or Hyman who would skate to the ends of the earth even when gassed. Otherwise, good on the team to comeback and salvage a point. Rough game for Stu

Kane falling and jumping out of the way just shows how rigged it was to begin with. They got NHL players trying to be Hollywood actors and it's pretty obvious. It's all about gambling odds now adays and they rig it take everyone's money. Also, it's Kane... Look at his history wth gambling as well:/

Boston fan since early 1960's I've seen thousands of games but this was a great one by both teams, huge W for the B's, oilers have been a machine lately.

Was a Boston fan long before Oiler's came to the NHL. Became an Oiler fan in the 80's and never looked back. However, Bruins was my first and I agree this was an excellent game. Congrats to Bruins - respect.

@@chrisg1556 ur wrong. I watched both games, swapping to the oilers after the leafs finished. The leafs finished a good 45 mins before this one. Just because they started at the same time doesn’t mean they finished at the same time. This game had way more stoppages, clock rewinds, and went to overtime. Sports net obviously held out for the leafs because the leafs highlights get the most engagement, but as that was done the guy rightfully went to bed. Also calling this the “oilers” highlights is pretty ironic considering they lost. If anything they did the bruins dirty.

Only 2 OT losses this season for Edmonton. Interesting.

The oilers have lost the main focus of the game. Teams win games not individuals. By trying consciously to fix a problem takes your focus off trusting your situational awareness to respond to a situation. Players have seen these situations hundreds of times over their careers. It is a matter of trusting yourself to react with both situational awareness and foresight to anticipate the best move to make. It still surprises me that players still get caught following the puck[like a cat following a laser light ] without the comprehension that it is the open man that scores the goal 80% of the time. Watching Gretsky, you can see he would anticipate where the puck would be going and be there, instead of chasing after it. One basic principle, he who controls the puck controls the situation and the game. When a team finds it's game, it is because they trust themselves and their fellows to use there experience and creativity to follow the game plan without excessive rigidity.

Oils had a chance to score in OT but Bouchard chose to miss the net 3 times. Leon could have scored on the one timer but didn't elevate it high enough. Missed opportunity. McDavid needs to shoot the puck more to score like Matthews.
